Chapter One: Life with Three Is Surprisingly Fun
After their bath, Toru, Aino, and Chika were all a bit flushed from the heat. But the night held a special treat.
They’d decided to splurge on dinner—ordering sushi for three, courtesy of the Kōnoe family’s deep pockets.
Why hold back when a mega-wealthy conglomerate was footing the bill? For once, Toru, Aino, and Chika were in complete agreement.
To Toru and Aino, who were being swept along by the Kōnoe family’s whims, there was no need for restraint. For Chika, the Kōnoe heiress, it was her family’s money anyway—sushi was pocket change compared to their fortune.
The three sat around the dining table on the first floor: Toru in the middle, Aino beside him, and Chika across from them.
Aino, as always, was all smiles, radiating joy. Surprisingly, Chika seemed relaxed, which caught Toru off guard. He’d expected her to be tense in this unfamiliar environment, especially since she seemed to view him and Aino as adversaries (or something like that).
Lost in thought, Toru was startled when Aino giggled, picking up an inari sushi and holding it toward his mouth.
“Here, Toru-kun. Say ‘ahh’!”
“A-Ahh? That’s… kinda embarrassing,” he stammered.
“No good? I’ve always dreamed of doing stuff like this with my boyfriend,” Aino said, her tone tinged with disappointment.
How could he refuse her now? Toru leaned forward and took a bite of the inari sushi, chewing thoughtfully. It was tasty, but inari sushi didn’t exactly scream romance.
Aino’s face lit up. “Yummy?”
“Yeah, it’s good,” he nodded.
Across the table, Chika puffed out her cheeks, clearly annoyed. Aino caught her expression and flashed a mischievous grin.
“Jealous, Kōnoe-san?”
“I’m not jealous!” Chika snapped.
“Or maybe you’re imagining something naughty with that inari sushi?” Aino teased.
“If anyone’s thinking naughty thoughts, it’s Toru feeding you that’d be more… indecent,” Chika retorted, then froze, clapping a hand over her mouth as if she’d said too much.
Toru felt his cheeks heat up, and Aino’s face flushed pink.
“Kōnoe-san, you’re kind of a closet perv, huh?” Aino said, smirking.
“N-No, I’m not! You’re the one who started it!” Chika protested.
“I didn’t say anything!” Aino replied innocently.
As the girls bantered, Toru watched them, a thought crossing his mind: Maybe these two could actually get along.
(Also, for two refined young ladies, they sure know some risqué words…)
The meal continued with lively chatter, the sushi as delicious as expected. Afterward, as they sipped tea and relaxed, Aino let out a playful giggle.
“I’ve got something special prepared for tonight,” she announced.
Toru and Chika exchanged wary glances.
(This feels like it’s gonna be trouble…)
Chika, clearly sharing his unease, hesitated before asking, “It’s not something weird, is it?”
“What do you take me for, Kōnoe-san?” Aino pouted.
“A shameless girl who bathes naked with a guy her age?” Chika shot back.
“Hey, that’s rude! And you did the same thing, didn’t you?” Aino countered.
“I-I didn’t!” Chika stammered.
“You went out of your way to wear a school swimsuit just to join Toru-kun in the bath!”
“Tch… that was…” Chika trailed off, clearly on the defensive.
Their bickering (more like playful puppy tussling) seemed to leave Chika at a disadvantage. For all her perfection, she was oddly weak against Aino.
Not wanting the conversation to derail further, Toru interjected. “So, what’s this thing you prepared, Aino-san?”
Aino’s face lit up, as if she’d been waiting for the question. “A horror movie!”
“Huh?” Toru blinked.
“You said you like mysteries and horror, right, Toru-kun? So I rented a recent blockbuster.”
He vaguely recalled mentioning that to her. Their first conversation had sparked at a bookstore in front of the mystery section. It felt like ages ago, though barely a week had passed.
(A fiancée who shares my hobbies… that’s pretty great, huh?)
The thought of marrying Aino slipped into his mind unbidden, startling him.
Aino’s blue eyes sparkled mischievously. “Plus, watching a horror movie together feels super couple-y, doesn’t it?”
She had a point.
Chika tugged at Toru’s sleeve. “I’m here too, you know…”
Aino giggled. “Scared of horror, Kōnoe-san?”
“N-No way!” Chika huffed.
“Then you’ll watch with us, right?”
Aino’s invitation was casual, almost effortless. Chika hesitated, then nodded reluctantly.
It seemed Aino was actively trying to get closer to Chika. Her reasons were unclear, but since they’d all be living together for the foreseeable future, it was better for Toru if the girls got along.
And so, the three settled in to watch the movie.
The mansion’s massive, high-end TV dominated the room. With the lights off, they sat on the sofa in front of it: Aino on Toru’s right, Chika on his left.
His heart skipped a beat.
(Sandwiched between two gorgeous girls…)
Sure, they’d already bathed together, but this still felt surreal.
“Aww, Toru-kun, are you blushing?” Aino teased.
“Toru’s totally smitten,” Chika added, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Whether intentional or not, both girls sat close enough for their bodies to brush against his. The sweet, feminine scent of them sent his pulse racing.
Aino started the movie, and the screen filled with eerie visuals—an intense Western horror flick. It was well-made, but Toru, a seasoned horror fan, wasn’t fazed.
The real challenge was the two girls beside him.
“Uh…”
Aino and Chika clung to him tightly. Chika was trembling, clearly terrified, while Aino seemed to be enjoying herself despite her grip.
“T-Toru…” Chika’s voice was a shaky whisper, her words lost as she clutched him desperately.
She must’ve been really scared.
But what distracted Toru wasn’t the movie—it was the softness of Chika’s chest pressing against him through her thin T-shirt. His face grew hot as he felt her curves, his mind wandering to less-than-pure thoughts. If he gave in and touched her, this would escalate far beyond a horror movie.
Not that Chika seemed to notice his struggle.
Trying to distract himself, Toru asked, “You’re not good with horror, are you?”
“I’m not bad at it!” she insisted, her voice quivering.
“You could’ve said something. You didn’t have to force yourself.”
“I don’t have any weaknesses!”
Toru had always thought so too, but apparently, horror was Chika’s kryptonite. Back when they were inseparable as kids, he’d never noticed this side of her.
If he told Asuka Sakurai about this, she’d probably drag Chika to a horror movie marathon.
(Oh, right. I need to think about Asuka’s confession too…)
Ignoring it forever would be unfair. But with Aino’s cohabitation and Chika’s unexpected arrival, today had been overwhelming enough.
Onscreen, a particularly creepy scene played out, and Chika let out a yelp. Aino, though slightly unnerved, seemed to have some composure.
“It’s creepy but fun, right? If you weren’t here, Toru-kun, I might’ve bolted,” Aino said, pressing herself closer, her chest brushing against him.
Caught between Chika’s trembling grip and Aino’s deliberate closeness, Toru was flustered.
(I can’t focus on the movie at all…)
Chika’s clinging seemed instinctive, driven by fear. Aino, on the other hand, was definitely doing it on purpose. As if to prove it, she shifted, pressing her chest more firmly against his arm, emphasizing her curves.
“Toru-kun, you’re supposed to focus on the movie,” she teased.
“This is your fault,” he muttered.
“Huh? What’d I do?” she asked, feigning innocence.
“Don’t play dumb. You’re pressing your… chest against me on purpose.”
Aino giggled. “Oh, Toru-kun, you pervert. But it’s not just my chest you’re noticing, is it?”
She leaned in, her lips brushing his ear. “Are you that curious about Kōnoe-san’s?”
“N-No way!” he protested.
“Liar. Why don’t you just give hers a squeeze then?”
“Why would I do something that creepy?”
“It might distract her from the scary stuff. And I bet she’d love it—it wouldn’t even be creepy,” Aino said with a playful wink.
Toru glanced at Chika, who was pale, eyes squeezed shut, oblivious to their whispered exchange. She looked like she’d reached her limit.
Aino’s suggestion was out of the question, but Toru felt bad for Chika. He decided to stop the movie.
Just as he reached for the remote, Chika let out a terrified “Eek!” and lunged at him. The sudden movement threw him off balance, and with Aino caught in the mix, all three tumbled onto the sofa in a tangled heap.
“Ow…”
As Toru tried to sit up, he realized something mortifying. In the chaos, he’d grabbed for support—and his right hand was on Aino’s chest, his left on Chika’s.
“Ah!” “Nnh!”
Both girls let out soft, startled gasps. Panicking, Toru tried to pull away, but his left hand instinctively tightened for a moment.
“Hya! N-No…!” Chika shuddered, her voice trembling.
Through the thin fabric of her T-shirt, the softness of her chest was unmistakable. Aino, meanwhile, averted her eyes, blushing.
Both girls stared at him.
“T-Toru, you pervert… let go!” Chika mumbled, her voice shy and flustered.
Toru yanked his hands back, stammering, “S-Sorry!” and scrambled away.
Aino, however, giggled. “I wouldn’t mind if you kept going. Don’t you think so too, Kōnoe-san?”
“N-No way!” Chika snapped, flustered. “That’s ridiculous!”
“Oh? So you wouldn’t be jealous if I let Toru-kun touch me more?” Aino teased.
“That kind of shameless behavior is unacceptable!” Chika huffed.
“I got plenty of touching in the bath, though,” Aino said with a sly smile.
Chika glared at her, clearly frustrated.
“And since we’re all sleeping in the same bed tonight,” Aino continued, “who knows? Maybe Toru-kun will pounce on us in our sleep.”
Aino’s outrageous comment hung in the air.
Chika’s face flushed crimson, her eyes darting nervously.
Right now, two stunning girls sat before Toru on the sofa. Aino and Chika were dressed in casual loungewear—shorts that left their pale thighs dazzlingly exposed. Their high school curves strained against their T-shirts, and Toru couldn’t help but steal a glance at the swell of their chests.
His eyes lingered as Aino’s chest jiggled slightly with her movements.
(Even if it was an accident, I was touching those just a moment ago…)
Aino let out a playful “Oh!” and met his gaze with a teasing grin. “See, Toru-kun’s looking at us with naughty eyes!”
Chika, flustered, crossed her arms over her chest as if to shield herself, shooting Toru a sulky glare. “You’re the worst!”
Toru had no defense.
It wasn’t unreasonable for Aino and Chika to worry about being “attacked” in bed, given the situation. But Aino seemed to be enjoying herself immensely.
“I mean… if it’s Toru-kun, I might not mind being attacked,” she said coyly.
“Lyuti-san?!” Chika gasped. “What are you even saying?!”
“Don’t pretend, Kōnoe-san. Deep down, you feel the same, don’t you?”
“I’m not like you! I don’t have the slightest desire to have Toru touch my chest or kiss me!” Chika protested, her voice rising.
“Oh, please. You were the one trying to seduce Toru-kun with that sneaky school swimsuit,” Aino shot back.
“I wasn’t seducing him! I-I only wore it to keep an eye on you two!” Chika stammered.
“Uh-huh. Gotta keep watch, right? So you’re fine sleeping in the same bed as Toru-kun and me, even if you get attacked?” Aino teased.
“No way I’m fine with that! B-But… I’ll sleep there anyway,” Chika muttered, her eyes dropping. Her dark gaze flickered with unease.
Toru grew concerned.
“You don’t have to force yourself, Kōnoe-san.”
“If I’m not there, you and Lyuti-san will definitely… do something weird!” she insisted.
“I wouldn’t!” Toru protested.
“Liar. You’ll end up getting Lyuti-san pregnant,” Chika huffed.
Her words sparked an idea in Toru’s mind. The mansion only had one bed, which he and Aino had been sharing. If that made Chika uneasy, he could sleep elsewhere.
(I could probably manage on the sofa…)
It’d be cramped, but it was doable. When he suggested it, however, both Aino and Chika exchanged glances and immediately objected.
Chika’s reasoning was simple. “It’d feel wrong to make you sleep on a tiny sofa because of me,” she said.
“You’re worried about me?” Toru asked, surprised.
Chika nodded shyly, her cheeks pink. They’d been on rocky terms until recently, so her concern threw him off.
“A-And… that movie left me too scared to sleep alone,” she admitted, glancing up at him. “But if you’re nearby…”
She trailed off, but the implication was clear: she’d feel safer with him there.
Her hesitant, upward glance made her look vulnerable. “B-But you absolutely can’t attack me, okay?” she added, turning away with a flushed pout.
Aino watched her with a soft smile. “I want to sleep with Toru-kun too. And, you know, when he was next to me last night… I slept so peacefully.”
Aino had mentioned her insomnia before, but last night, she’d shown no signs of it. Apparently, that was thanks to Toru.
It was a little embarrassing, but hearing that warmed his heart.
“Tonight, though, thinking about Toru-kun attacking me might keep me up with excitement,” Aino teased.
“I’m not attacking anyone!” Toru said with a wry laugh.
Aino’s sapphire eyes sparkled mischievously. “You’re the boy who called me cute and said you wanted to make babies with me. My precious fiancé, right?”
Her bluntness made Toru flush with embarrassment.
In that moment, Aino stood from the sofa and pressed her ample chest against him. The sensation of her curves through her T-shirt sent him into a panic.
She whispered in his ear, “Plus, I want to be all lovey-dovey with my fiancé in front of Kōnoe-san. Don’t you want that too, Toru-kun?”
“W-Well…”
Saying he didn’t would be a lie. But mustering the courage to act that way in front of Chika? That was another story.
Aino gazed at him with a flirtatious smile. “If you’re going to attack anyone, make it me, not Kōnoe-san, okay?”
☆
In the end, Toru, Aino, and Chika decided to share the same bedroom. The double bed was large enough for three to sleep side by side without issue.
The real problem? Toru’s racing heart, which might keep him up all night.
Sleeping with Aino alone last night had been nerve-wracking enough, but this was on another level.
He stole a glance at the two girls. A petite, golden-haired beauty with striking blue eyes and a refined, long-haired brunette in delicate sleepwear stood together in the dimly lit room.
Aino wore a sheer pink negligee, while Chika had on a light blue pajama shirt.
The three exchanged looks, their cheeks tinting red. For high school freshmen to share a bed like this—it was unthinkable under normal circumstances.
Chika spoke softly, her voice shy. “Back then… you and I used to sleep in the same futon, didn’t we?”
“Yeah, back then,” Toru replied.
As childhood friends, former fiancés, and housemates, they’d shared a futon before—but that was when they were kids. Now, they were all too aware of each other as the opposite sex.
Aino tilted her head slightly. “So… who’s sleeping in the middle?”
With three people lying side by side, someone would end up sandwiched between the other two.
Chika let out a confident chuckle, placing a hand on her chest. “If I sleep in the middle, I can stop you two from doing anything naughty.”
Right—her supposed mission was to monitor Toru and Aino to prevent any “inappropriate” behavior.
Aino blinked, her blue eyes studying Chika with surprise. “You’re really serious about keeping an eye on us?”
“I’ve said it a million times!” Chika huffed.
“I thought you just wanted to sleep in the same bed because you wanted Toru-kun to do those things to you,” Aino teased.
“That’s not it!” Chika protested.
“Hmm. But are you sure? If you’re in the middle, it might backfire…” Aino said slyly.
“Huh?”
“If Toru-kun’s pressed up against you and gets in a naughty mood, you’ll be the one he attacks,” Aino pointed out.
Chika’s face turned beet red. Sure, her sleeping in the middle might keep Toru and Aino apart, but it’d leave her right next to him.
Of course, Toru had no intention of attacking her. But Aino giggled mischievously. “It’d be perfect for you too, Kōnoe-san. You could cling to him, kiss him, whatever you want.”
“I-I’m not planning to do any of that!” Chika stammered. “And if Toru tries anything weird, you’d better stop him, Lyuti-san!”
“Why would I do that?” Aino asked innocently.
“B-Because…” Chika faltered.
She’d come to monitor Toru and Aino on her own and insisted on sharing the bed. Aino, as Toru’s fiancée, had no obligation to intervene—though she probably would, in reality.
As Aino and Chika argued, Toru couldn’t help but notice their chests jiggling slightly with each heated word. Their thin sleepwear made every movement painfully obvious. He wasn’t planning to do anything to either of them here, but staying calm with their curves pressed against him? That was a tall order.
Aino shot Chika a playful look. “You realize, don’t you? If Toru-kun does something naughty, you won’t have anywhere to escape.”
“T-That’s…” Chika hesitated.
“When you’re in bed together, barely dressed, clinging to a boy, it’s only natural he might get ideas. There’s no running away. And you’re still going to pretend you don’t want anything naughty with Toru-kun?”
“It’s not a lie! B-But… if it’s to keep an eye on you and Toru, I’ll forgive him for doing something naughty… just a little,” Chika mumbled, her voice barely audible as she looked away, cheeks burning with shame.
She was completely swept up in Aino’s pace.
(Just a little? How much is that supposed to mean…?)
Toru shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He had no intention of doing anything inappropriate in the first place.
But Aino clearly didn’t see it that way. She gave Chika a sly, narrowed glance. “See? You do want Toru-kun to do naughty things to you.”
“I don’t want it! I’m just saying it might be unavoidable!” Chika protested.
“Really now?” Aino tilted her head, then giggled. “But it’s unfair if only Kōnoe-san gets the naughty stuff. Toru-kun should sleep in the middle.”
“Huh? Why?” Toru asked, confused.
“Because then, instead of Kōnoe-san, you might do naughty things to me,” Aino said with a grin.
“I’m not doing anything weird to either of you!” Toru insisted.
“Hmm. You don’t want to do those things with us?” Aino pressed.
Toru was a healthy high school boy—saying he had no interest in girls would be a lie. Aino and Chika were breathtakingly beautiful, with figures that stood out even among other high school girls. But wanting something and acting on it were two different things. Aino was his fiancée, and Chika was his childhood friend—both were precious to him.
Still, Aino stepped closer, taking his right hand in hers. The cool touch of her small palm made his heart skip a beat, his cheeks warming.
She looked up at him, her eyes twinkling. “You’re blushing just from holding hands. No way you’re not interested in my body, right?”
She lingered on the words “my body,” her voice carrying a sultry edge that sent a shiver through him.
Toru couldn’t help but glance at her. The petite, blonde, blue-eyed beauty had a stunning figure, made all the more striking by her sheer negligee. The thin fabric hinted at her skin beneath, and her ample cleavage was impossible to ignore.
Aino clearly noticed where his eyes wandered. She blushed, lowering her gaze. “You don’t have to say it. I can tell you want to do naughty things. You were just staring at my chest.”
“S-Sorry,” Toru stammered.
“No, it’s fine. I wore this to get you to look,” she whispered.
So she’d chosen the negligee deliberately to show off her curves for him.
Chika puffed out her cheeks. “See! All you and Lyuti-san think about is naughty stuff!”
“Oh, is Kōnoe-san jealous because Toru-kun’s not looking at you?” Aino teased.
“I’m not jealous!” Chika snapped.
“But you can’t beat me. I made sure Toru-kun would notice my chest,” Aino said, suddenly shy as she covered her cleavage with her hands. So even that glimpse had been intentional.
Chika’s mouth opened and closed, searching for a retort but finding none.
Aino’s sapphire eyes gleamed with amusement as she taunted Chika. “If Toru-kun wants, I’m okay with any naughty things. I’m his fiancée, after all. That’s a different level of commitment than a childhood friend who’s fine with ‘just a little’ naughtiness.”
Aino’s provocation left Chika flustered. She’d been cornered by her own words, flipped back at her with Aino’s bold declaration of being open to anything.
Toru watched nervously. They were supposed to sleep soon, but the atmosphere was anything but restful.
Chika glared at Aino. “I’m here to stop you and Toru from doing naughty things! Even if you’re okay with it, I’ll put a stop to it.”
“Really?” Aino asked skeptically.
“Of course! I won’t let you and Toru… do things that could make a baby!” Chika declared, her face red.
“Oh, you’re imagining naughty stuff right now, aren’t you?” Aino teased.
“You’re the one making me think about it!” Chika shot back. “Anyway, I’ll sleep between you and Toru to make sure you don’t do anything weird!”
“And you’re okay with Toru-kun doing ‘just a little’ naughty stuff to you for that, right?” Aino pressed.
“Y-Yes! Got a problem with that?” Chika challenged.
Aino giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she stepped closer to Chika. Then, in a swift move, she slipped behind her.
Chika’s eyes widened in alarm, but it was too late. “W-What are you—?! Eek!”
In an instant, Aino grabbed Chika’s chest, kneading her ample curves through the thin blue pajama shirt. The fabric did little to hide their shape as Chika squirmed.
She tried to resist but couldn’t break free, trembling as Aino’s hands roamed freely. “W-Why are you doing this…?”
“You said you’re fine with ‘just a little’ naughty stuff, right?” Aino replied playfully.
“That meant Toru, not you!” Chika protested.
“Oh, right. Should we let Toru-kun take over then?”
“W-Wait—ah!”
Aino’s fingers moved to the top button of Chika’s pajama shirt, undoing it with a flick. Chika’s chest bounced, her pale cleavage exposed as she gasped, her breathing uneven and her cheeks flushed.
Pointing at her, Aino grinned at Toru. “She says she’s fine with you doing naughty things to her, so go ahead.”
“B-But… that’s not…” Chika stammered.
“You hugged her in the bath, and you touched her chest, didn’t you? What’s stopping you now?” Aino said, her gaze challenging.
(I can’t read Aino-san at all…)
What was the right move here?
Should he follow Aino’s lead and do something naughty to Chika? Of course not.
Chika, still in Aino’s grasp, turned pleading, teary eyes toward him. “T-Toru… help me. N-No, don’t… not any more…!”
Aino’s hands slipped beneath Chika’s shirt, clearly intent on touching her directly.
This was going too far.
An idea struck Toru. Attacking Chika like this was out of the question, and simply asking Aino to stop wouldn’t work. But there was another way—one that might reveal Aino’s intentions.
Quietly, Toru moved behind them. Aino’s voice perked up. “Oh, Toru-kun, you’re joining in on the naughty stuff with Kōnoe-san? Good—wait, why are you… eek!”
Aino let out a sweet gasp.
Toru hadn’t moved behind them to tease Chika. Instead, his hands were on Aino’s ample chest, gently touching her through the negligee.
“T-Toru-kun…” Aino’s voice was a mix of surprise and sweetness as she said his name.
His fingers brushed the soft curves of her chest, grazing the pale valley of her cleavage. Aino squirmed, as if tickled by his touch.
Why had Toru acted so boldly? It was to stop Aino from teasing Chika too far.
Aino was kneading Chika’s chest from behind, so Toru had mirrored her actions, his hands now on Aino’s ample curves.
“The way you’re touching me, Toru-kun… it’s naughty,” Aino purred.
“You said you’re fine with any naughty things, didn’t you, Aino-san?” Toru countered.
“Y-Yeah, but… it’s a little embarrassing,” she admitted, letting out a soft “Ah!” as he continued.
“If you stop teasing Chika, I’ll stop too,” Toru offered.
“…You called her ‘Chika,’ huh?” Aino noted, her tone sharp.
Toru froze. Oops. He’d slipped and used her first name, like he used to when they were kids.
Even as he touched her chest, Aino turned to glare at him, her blue eyes sparkling with a mix of mischief and reproach. “I’m not stopping with Kōnoe-san.”
“Huh? But—”
“So, you cheating Toru-kun can do whatever you want with me,” she huffed, turning her face away. But the next moment, she let out a soft “Nnh!” as Toru’s hands kneaded her generous curves more firmly.
Chika, meanwhile, wasn’t pleased either. “I knew it! Toru’s a pervert! A total boob maniac!”
Aino, still being touched, giggled. “Jealous, Kōnoe-san?”
“No way!” Chika snapped.
“Then let me pamper you instead,” Aino teased.
“W-Wait, no!” Chika yelped as Aino’s hands returned to her chest, eliciting another squeal.
The scene was surreal: Toru touching Aino from behind, Aino touching Chika—a tangled chain of mischief.
Aino’s hands slipped beneath Chika’s pajama shirt, aiming to touch her directly again.
“Not under my clothes!” Chika protested.
“Such a shy girl, Kōnoe-san. If you’re embarrassed with me, how will you ever handle Toru-kun touching you?” Aino teased.
“I’m not letting Toru touch me! Eek—no!” Chika gasped, squirming as Aino persisted.
“Your reactions are so cute, Kōnoe-san. It’s unfair—you might just tempt Toru-kun… oh!” Aino’s words cut off as Toru’s hands moved toward the hem of her negligee, threatening to slip beneath.
“T-Toru-kun…?” she murmured, her voice trembling.
“Just doing what you’re doing, Aino-san,” he replied calmly.
“R-Right…”
Aino seemed torn between embarrassment and amusement, but she showed no sign of stopping her teasing of Chika.
She whispered gleefully, “It’s embarrassing, but it’s like a reward for me. This won’t stop me, you know.”
Apparently, touching her chest wasn’t enough to deter her. Toru decided to push a little further.
As he moved to explore her curves more boldly, he realized something startling. He’d assumed she was wearing a bra under her negligee.
He was wrong.
Aino giggled. “Don’t you know? Girls don’t wear bras to bed.”
It made sense, but the thought hadn’t crossed Toru’s mind. His hands had slipped beneath her negligee, directly touching her bare chest from behind.
Flustered, he yanked his hands back.
Aino turned to him, puzzled. “You touched me plenty in the bath. Why get shy now?”
“That was different!” he stammered.
Back then, he’d known she was naked. But touching her bare chest now, in front of Chika, was unexpected.
Aino giggled, giving him a teasing, upward glance. “You’re so shy, Toru-kun. You could’ve kept going.”
She tugged at her negligee, emphasizing its sheer fabric and drawing attention to her cleavage. Then she stepped closer.
Toru instinctively backed up, only for his legs to hit the bed, sending him tumbling onto it. Aino followed, climbing onto the bed and straddling him on all fours.
Her loose negligee dipped, revealing a tantalizing view of her pale cleavage—almost too much.
“Toru-kun…” she murmured sweetly, her voice soft and coaxing.
Both in thin sleepwear, their bodies pressed close on the bed, Toru’s gaze was glued to her chest, his rationality fraying.
When he shifted, Aino let out a soft “Hya!” her chest jiggling enticingly.
If things had continued, Toru might’ve lost control entirely.
But then…
“…Lyuti-san, I’m getting you back!”
“W-Wait, Kōnoe-san?!”
Chika pounced from behind, grabbing Aino’s ample chest with both hands. Aino tried to squirm away, but her position on all fours on the bed made escape impossible.
“N-No… you can’t just grab my chest!” Aino protested.
“You made me feel humiliated, so now it’s your turn!” Chika declared.
“K-Kōnoe-san, you’re acting like a villain… ah, I was kidding, stop!” Aino squealed.
Toru watched, face flushed, as the two gorgeous girls tangled on the bed. Chika, who’d been the one teased moments ago, had her pajama shirt unbuttoned, her chest jiggling with every move as she kneaded Aino’s.
(Is Chika not wearing a bra either…?)
He shook his head vigorously, trying to banish the thought, but his eyes couldn’t help following. Aino’s breathless “Ahh!” and “Nnh!” filled the air as her braless chest was fondled, the tips nearly visible, sending Toru’s heart racing.
Chika, too, was clearly braless—the faint outline of her nipples visible through her shirt. Neither seemed to notice Toru’s heated gaze.
Eventually, Aino surrendered with a defeated “Ugh…” and glanced between Toru and Chika, embarrassed. “I’m sorry. I was a bad girl for teasing Kōnoe-san…”
“Good,” Chika said, puffing out her chest triumphantly—her exposed cleavage making Toru avert his eyes awkwardly.
Aino glanced at him coyly. “Hey, Toru-kun, won’t you punish this bad girl?”
“P-Punish?” he stammered.
“Like, a naughty punishment,” she teased.
Chika’s face twisted in indignation. “That’s just a reward!”
Toru and Aino exchanged glances, and Aino shot Chika a sly grin. “So, getting naughty with Toru-kun is a reward for you, Kōnoe-san?”
“N-No, that’s not what I meant!” Chika sputtered.
“With your shirt all open like that, are you trying to seduce Toru-kun?” Aino pressed.
Realizing her exposure, Chika flushed and hurriedly covered her chest. She hadn’t noticed until now.
“T-Toru…! My chest…” she mumbled.
“Uh, I didn’t see anything!” Toru lied.
“Liar!”
She threw a pillow at him, but he caught it easily, which only made her pout more.
“Anyway, we’re sleeping now!” Chika declared.
“So, who’s in the middle?” Aino asked.
Silence fell over the room.
In the end, they decided Toru would sleep in the middle, flanked by Aino and Chika.
(No way I’m sleeping like this…)
Sharing a bed with two girls was a first for him. But another reason he wouldn’t sleep came unexpectedly from Chika.
“Toru-kun… touch my chest…”
Aino’s shocking sleep-talk made Toru jolt, but her eyes were closed, her breathing soft and steady—she was asleep.
Relieved, he relaxed, only to feel Aino’s arms wrap around his waist from behind, hugging him tightly.
Right now, Toru lay in the mansion’s bed, sandwiched between his fiancée and his former fiancée. Aino, in her sheer negligee, pressed her chest against him, her cleavage likely visible if he turned.
(I’m definitely not sleeping…)
As he squirmed in his thoughts, Chika glared at him with sulky eyes. “You’re all smitten, Toru. So uncool.”
“I’m not smitten!” he protested.
“Liar. You were thinking how big Lyuti-san’s chest is, weren’t you?”
When Toru faltered, Chika huffed, “I knew it…”
“You never acted like that with me…” she muttered.
“W-Wait, are you…?”
“I’m not jealous!” she snapped, though it was clear she was.
Hesitantly, Toru took her hand. Chika blushed, looking at him with a mix of surprise and nerves.
“T-Toru…?”
“Sorry. If you don’t like it, I’ll stop.”
“It’s not that I don’t like it,” she said softly. “But… do you just do this with any girl?”
“No, it’s because it’s you, Kōnoe-san,” he said without thinking.
Her face lit up. “Oh? Because it’s me?”
She giggled, clearly pleased.
(Chika… she still likes me, doesn’t she?)
The realization hit him hard. What should he do?
Aino was his fiancée, and he’d promised to support her. But Chika, his childhood friend, cousin, and former fiancée, was someone he’d failed to protect—and she still loved him.
He couldn’t be Aino’s fiancée and return Chika’s feelings. He’d have to choose.
“Hey, Toru,” Chika said softly. “If you heard I was marrying someone else, would you feel even a little disappointed?”
“I…” He hesitated.
She smiled faintly. “You’d feel a little disappointed?”
“Maybe. It’s selfish, I know…”
“No, it makes me happy,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper. “Actually… I have a new engagement offer.”
Toru wasn’t surprised. Chika was sixteen, and the Kōnoe family would naturally arrange a new match.
“If I get engaged, I won’t be able to come here anymore. Just when we’re finally… like we used to be,” she said, her voice trailing off, longing for their old closeness.
“If you objected… I’d consider refusing the engagement,” she added, her dark eyes locking onto his. “What do you think?”
“Even if you refused, could you decide that on your own?” Toru asked.
Chika’s expression flickered with unease, but she nodded. “My position in the Kōnoe family is stronger now. I’m not just a kid anymore. I have ways… I think I could make it work.”
Toru gazed at her, lying beside him. They weren’t adults yet, but they weren’t children either.
His eyes drifted to the curves of her chest, visible even through her pajama shirt. Noticing his gaze, Chika blushed and covered herself, but there was no disgust in her eyes.
“You’ve grown up too, huh, Toru?” she said.
“W-What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Exactly what it sounds like,” she replied with a giggle, her fingers brushing his hand as if savoring the contact.
Feeling her small hand, Toru felt a rush of nerves. “C-Chika…”
“You called me by my name…” she said, surprised.
“S-Sorry.”
“Why apologize? I’m happy,” she said softly. “So… about my new fiancé. He’s a bit older, kind, handsome, wealthy, and from a good family.”
“Then…”
“But I’d rather have you as my fiancé,” she said, her voice trembling. “Because I… I love you, Toru.”
She stopped, her teary eyes fixed on him.
Chika was his precious childhood friend who loved him, but they couldn’t go back to being fiancés.
“Even if you refused the engagement, we couldn’t be fiancés again,” Toru said gently. “I’m Aino’s fiancé now. And the Kōnoe family has no reason to choose me as your husband anymore.”
Chika looked away, nodding sadly. “I know… But right now, I’m here with you, aren’t I?”
She shifted closer, her body brushing against his, her chest pressing against him.
“K-Kōnoe-san… your… chest…”
“I’m doing it on purpose,” she admitted, blushing as she met his gaze. “This… it feels like we’re lovers, doesn’t it?”
Lying in bed in sleepwear, it did feel intimate—almost like the aftermath of something more.
Her sweet scent enveloped him, urging him to pull her close. He cared deeply for Aino, but being this close to a beautiful girl tested his restraint.
“If that incident hadn’t happened, we’d probably be…” Chika began.
At that moment, something soft and large pressed against Toru’s back.
“Toru-kun… I love you…”
“A-Aino-san?!”
Aino wasn’t awake—she was sleep-talking, hugging him tightly from behind.
Now, Toru was sandwiched: Chika’s chest in front, Aino’s behind.
Chika puffed out her cheeks. “I won’t lose to Lyuti-san…”
She muttered softly.
Sharing a bed with Aino and Chika, Toru had thought sleep would be impossible.
Aino, half-asleep, murmured, “Toru-kun… I love you,” clinging to him, her chest pressed firmly against his back.
Chika, meanwhile, whispered, “Toru… you’re so cute,” in her sleep, her hands gently stroking his body.
Both girls, utterly defenseless in their slumber, had him trapped in a beautiful-girl sandwich. Sleep was the last thing on his mind.
Aino had even said before bed, “I’m prepared for Toru-kun to attack me, you know?” The words lingered, making it impossible for Toru not to imagine such things.
If he touched Aino’s chest while she slept, she probably wouldn’t be mad. In fact, she seemed to want him to. Of course, part of it was her genuine affection for him.
But Toru knew Aino also wanted to solidify their engagement by creating undeniable facts—something to bind them closer. That knowledge kept him from acting on any impulses. Their engagement was, after all, a means to help Aino, and their “romance” was still just a pretense.
Chika had confessed her feelings too, but with talk of a new fiancé on the horizon, doing anything with her was out of the question.
Yet here they were, both girls clinging to him in bed…
Toru’s mind churned with conflicting thoughts, but exhaustion eventually won out. After nearly two hours, he finally drifted off.
☆
The next morning, sunlight streaming through the window woke Toru.
It was a day off, so there was no rush. He considered going back to sleep when he felt something squirming against him.
(…What’s that?)
Then it hit him. Aino was clinging to his lower half. The blanket had slipped off, and she mumbled, “Nnh…” in her sleep, tightening her grip. Her face was buried dangerously close to a sensitive part of him. Her thin pajamas had shifted, the neckline gaping to reveal her cleavage.
Toru’s body temperature spiked. He’d almost forgotten—he’d slept with Aino and Chika last night.
(Speaking of, where’s Chika…?)
The thought flickered briefly before Aino murmured, “Toru-kun…” and nuzzled against him.
(This is bad…)
She was still asleep, but he needed her to wake up—fast.
“A-Aino-san…!” he called.
“Nnh…?”
Her blue eyes fluttered open, widening in shock as she registered her position. Even though he was clothed, his lower half was right in front of her face. Understandably, she was startled.
And then…
“T-Toru-kun… you’re… naughty,” she mumbled.
“It’s just a physiological reaction!” he protested.
“If I’m making you feel naughty, you should just admit it,” she teased.
“That’s not it!”
“You don’t have to hide it. If I’m making Toru-kun suffer, I should help relieve your… frustration, right?”
“Aino-san, please listen to me,” he pleaded.
She giggled, clearly not serious. But someone else took it very seriously.
“So, Toru, you’re getting all worked up over Lyuti-san, huh?”
Chika stood in the doorway, arms crossed, glaring at them with sulky eyes. She’d already changed into a refined dress, an apron tied over it.
“N-No, it’s not like that… Wait, why the apron?” Toru asked, thrown off.
“W-Well… I thought I’d make you breakfast,” she admitted, her cheeks tinged pink. “It’s kind of like… I’m your wife, right?”
Aino puffed out her cheeks. “Kōnoe-san, you’re really trying hard to make Toru-kun like you, aren’t you?”
“Is that bad? You’re doing the same thing!” Chika shot back.
“…Fair point,” Aino conceded. “But making breakfast? A morning kiss would feel much more like newlyweds.”
“You and Toru haven’t done anything like that!” Chika snapped.
“But Toru-kun’s getting all naughty because of me—”
“Stop, please, it’s embarrassing!” Toru interrupted, wishing she’d drop it. It wasn’t entirely a lie, but still…
“Anyway, since Kōnoe-san made breakfast, let’s eat,” he suggested.
Aino and Chika exchanged glances, then nodded.
Chika’s breakfast was a feast: white rice, grilled fish, miso soup with pork, tamagoyaki, and simmered vegetables—a classic Japanese spread.
Chika, still in her apron, puffed out her chest proudly, her curves subtly shifting. “Well, Toru? What do you think?”
“It’s… incredible,” he said, awestruck. “Since when were you this good at cooking, Kōnoe-san?”
“I’ve improved since back then,” she said smugly. “I’m not just top of the class—I’ve been training to be a proper bride, too.”
Aino’s eyes sparkled. “It looks amazing!”
“Right?” Chika beamed.
“I can’t cook at all, so I’m jealous,” Aino admitted.
“It’s easy once you get the hang of it. Want me to teach you?” Chika offered.
“Really?”
Surprisingly, Aino and Chika chatted amicably, despite their earlier rivalry over Toru. Their sudden camaraderie baffled him. Aside from his classmate Asuka, Toru had little experience with girls, and living with two stunning ones was overwhelming his capacity to cope.
At the table, Aino sat to his left, Chika across from him. Both girls gazed at him with warm, happy smiles.
“Let’s eat,” they said in unison, and Toru dug in.
The food was as delicious as it looked. The fluffy, flavorful tamagoyaki practically melted in his mouth, and he ate eagerly.
When he glanced up, he caught Chika watching him, her expression soft and delighted. “You’re eating so enthusiastically—it’s kind of cute.”
“It’s seriously good,” he said. “This isn’t just ‘anyone can do it’ level.”
“R-Really? Thanks…” she mumbled, blushing.
“I should be the one thanking you.”
“It’s not a big deal,” she said, her voice softening. “But… I’m glad you think it’s delicious.”
Her shy words flustered Toru, and he noticed Aino watching them with a complicated expression.
Chika, catching Aino’s gaze, looked away awkwardly.
Their dynamic was delicate. Aino was mindful of Chika, his former fiancée, and Chika seemed to show consideration for Aino, the current fiancée. They clashed over Toru at times, but it wasn’t constant.
Aino smiled gently. “I wanted to live alone with Toru-kun, but… I’m looking forward to life with you too, Kōnoe-san.”
“Huh?” Chika’s eyes widened in surprise.
Toru was equally shocked. What did she mean?
Aino giggled. “I mean, thanks to you, we get this amazing breakfast, and you’ll teach me to cook!”
“I’m glad you like it, but…” Chika hesitated.
“Plus, getting along with a cute girl like you makes me happy,” Aino added.
“W-Well…” Chika averted her gaze, flustered. She seemed weak against direct affection, easily swayed by Aino’s straightforward charm.
“D-Don’t think your flattery means I’ll let you and Toru do anything shameless!” Chika huffed.
“It’s not flattery,” Aino said sincerely.
“But to you, I’m just… in the way, right?” Chika asked.
“Not at all,” Aino replied, shaking her head firmly. With a tilt of her head and a bright smile, she added, “Toru-kun’s already mine. I’m not worried about you stealing him.”
It was a bold declaration of war.
Chika’s face flushed red.
“You said it! Don’t regret it!”
“I won’t. Toru-kun’s by my side,” Aino replied confidently.
Their eyes locked, sparks flying. “This’ll be fun, Kōnoe-san,” Aino said.
“Oh, I’m looking forward to it!” Chika shot back.
Toru watched nervously. Their cohabitation was just beginning, and already the tension was palpable.
He had no idea a new crisis was looming.
“So, it’s a day off. What’s the plan, Toru-kun? Kōnoe-san?” Aino asked, tilting her head after they finished breakfast.
Toru and Chika exchanged glances. It was Saturday—a full day free.
Aino leaned against Toru, her golden hair brushing against him, sending his heart racing. “Want to go out together, Toru-kun?”
“Uh, well…”
“Don’t you want to go on a date with me?” she pressed, her voice sweet.
“I do, but…” He glanced at Chika, who was puffing out her cheeks.
“Get away from Toru!” she demanded.
“No way. He’s mine,” Aino teased.
“He’s not yours!” Chika retorted.
“If you’re so upset, why don’t you join us, Kōnoe-san?” Aino challenged.
Chika, provoked, stood from her seat across the table and stormed over. She glared down at Toru and Aino… and froze.
Her hand hovered, as if she’d meant to grab Toru, but her face was beet red. She was too embarrassed to follow through.
Aino giggled, pressing herself closer to Toru. Then, in a bolder move, she swung her slender leg over his, straddling his left thigh. Her arms wrapped around his neck.
The audacity left Toru frozen, and Chika’s face looked ready to burst, her mouth opening and closing in shock.
Even Aino seemed to realize she’d gone too far. Her cheeks flushed as red as Chika’s.
“This… might be a bit embarrassing,” she mumbled, then gasped, “Hya! T-Toru-kun, don’t move!”
“S-Sorry, but…”
Her sweet scent, the warmth of her arms, and the softness of her thighs were eroding his self-control. If Chika weren’t there, he might’ve given in completely.
“Ah… Toru-kun, you’re…” Aino murmured shyly, her gaze dropping to where she straddled him.
(This is bad…)
It was a natural reaction, but still mortifying.
Aino’s body trembled suddenly. “N-No, Toru-kun…”
He wanted nothing more than to pull her into his arms.
But Chika wasn’t about to let that happen. “Lyuti-san?” she growled, her eyes blazing.
Aino, sensing the danger, scrambled off Toru and back to her chair. “S-Sorry… I got carried away,” she said with a nervous laugh, glancing at Chika.
Chika sighed. “If I’m not around, who knows what you two would do…”
“I’d stop myself, I swear,” Toru said, though his words lacked conviction. A little more of Aino’s boldness, and he’d likely cave.
Chika shrugged. “If you two are going out, I’m coming too.”
“Huh?” Toru blinked.
“If you do something shameless outside, it’d disgrace the Kōnoe family,” she said sternly.
Aino tilted her head. “Don’t you want to do something shameless too, Kōnoe-san?”
“I-I don’t!” Chika protested.
“But going out as a trio could be fun,” Aino said brightly.
Chika lowered her eyes, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. She didn’t seem entirely opposed.
Toru, of course, had no objections to going out with two beautiful girls.
(Though…)
Aino and Chika turned to him simultaneously, their eyes sparkling as they giggled. “This’ll be fun, Toru-kun!” “Get ready, Toru!”
The two girls’ voices were filled with excitement, their gazes gleaming with anticipation.
