Hello, I’m Hiroshi Karui.

Eh, not our first meeting? Thank you so much!

I usually write novels on the web, some of which have been published as books or adapted into comics (with occasional original works). Stories like an exiled magic swordsman in a Russian Empire-style world taking a princess as his disciple, or a villainess doting on her adorable younger brother (currently serialized as comics!). For modern romantic comedies like this one, Living with a Cool Goddess Made Her Too Spoiled and Useless has novels 1–3 out and a comic serialization ongoing, so please check it out! I’m also set to write the story for a romantic comedy manga with another publisher, so I hope you’ll read it when it’s announced.

Now, this work, My beautiful Nordic classmate became my fiance and became a Lovey-Dovey, sweet girl, won the Silver Award at the 2nd Hifumi Shobo Web Novel Awards. As the title suggests, it’s a sweet romantic comedy about a Finnish girl falling in love! Thinking about it, Finland means saunas! So, if I write a sequel, I’d love to include Aino in a sauna…

This story is set in Nagoya, my hometown. You can easily do a pilgrimage to sacred spots like a certain bookstore near Nagoya Station or a café in the Uni Mall underground! I plan to visit them when I return home.

My heartfelt thanks to pon-sensei for the adorable illustrations! Aino in her uniform is just too cute…! I’ve always admired pon-sensei’s charming art on SNS, so I’m thrilled they illustrated this. Also, a huge thank you to Editor-in-Chief Han for all the support and accommodating my requests. Please take care of my slightly naughty other work too…! My deep gratitude to everyone involved in design, sales, distribution, and bookstores for this project.
