Chapter 1: How to Spend a Summer Break, Ero-Manga Style

Summer vacation has finally begun!

For students, summer vacation is the ultimate time to cut loose. Once you’re an adult, you’ll realize how miraculous it was to have such a long break.

An honor student worried about entrance exams might say, “How much you study during summer vacation makes all the difference!” But for a delinquent like Gouda Akio, that’s irrelevant. Screw the future—I’m prioritizing instant gratification!

“For all that talk, you’re planning out your summer pretty thoroughly, huh?” said Haya, peering at my schedule.

Himuro Haya. A gorgeous gyaru from my class with dyed blonde hair tied in a side ponytail and flawless makeup. Also, my girl.

“You gotta plan to have fun. Didn’t we all do this stuff back in elementary school?”

“Maybe, but I just winged it. Plans never go as expected anyway,” Haya said, rolling around on the floor, messing with her phone. She’d been crashing at my place a lot since summer vacation started, but was she keeping up with her studies?

“Oh, show me your homework when you’re done.”

“No way. You’re just gonna copy it.”

“Ugh, Akio, that’s so mean!”

“It’s for your own good. I’ll help you out, but you’re doing it yourself.”

Haya grumbled but gave in when she realized I wasn’t budging. She started on her homework. Despite her classic blonde gyaru look, she’s actually pretty serious at heart.

Finish homework early, then play hard—that’s the right way to do summer vacation.

“By the way, where’s Himarin?”

“Himarin? …Oh, you mean Himari. She’s got summer cram school today.”

Shiratori Himari. Not here right now, but another classmate—a refined honor student with long pink hair.

Refined and honor student? Well, she’s got a bit of a naughty streak… okay, more than a bit. Reincarnated as the villain in an adult manga, she became my girl. Is she lewder than in the original story because of some historical correction force? Or maybe it’s just her personality—she’s always so eager to “satisfy” me. Probably the latter.

“Ugh, cram school during summer vacation?” Haya groaned.

“You know we’re second-years now, right? Some kids are already grinding for entrance exams.”

“Honor students are something else,” Haya said, flopping onto her back. Her motivation drained, she wore a completely unguarded expression.

“…”

Even lying down, her chest asserted its presence. As one of the heroines in this adult manga, Haya’s got some serious assets… and I know exactly how they taste, their shape, their feel. Yet I couldn’t tear my eyes away.

“Hey… Akio, you’re staring too much…” Haya said, flustered, sitting up and crossing her arms over her chest. But that only emphasized their softness, the way they shifted under her clothes, practically spilling out, making my heart race.

“Jeez… ♡ You really want to touch them that bad?”

Her shy glance, flickering with expectation, told me it wasn’t just my desire talking.

“Haya…”

“Aki… ♡”

In a room in my apartment, just the two of us—an adult manga villain and a busty blonde gyaru. No way nothing was gonna happen.

In the cool, air-conditioned room, Haya and I worked up a good sweat and felt very satisfied.

A few days into summer vacation, I’d already veered off my plan. Not a single regret, though.

◇ ◇ ◇

To have fun, you need cash.

Summer vacation’s packed with pricey events—beach trips, festivals. Exciting, sure, but I couldn’t help stressing over how to spend my money.

Chasing my youth, I wanted to soak up every summer event. Not just with my girls but with classmates inviting me out too. I was actually looking forward to it, so I didn’t want to end up saying, “Sorry, I’m broke.”

“Alright, here we go. Just move this stuff over there, right?”

“Yup. Thanks for the muscle, Gouda-kun.”

“No prob. Strength’s my specialty.”

So I started a part-time job.

Even with living expenses from my parents, I didn’t have cash to burn. Gotta earn it myself.

Working too much would cut into playtime, so I went for short-term gigs. Event setup seemed easy enough—probably thanks to Gouda Akio’s cheat-level physique.

“You okay, Kuroha? Leave the heavy stuff to me and grab something lighter.”

“W-Wah!? T-Thanks, Gouda-kun…”

A petite girl was wobbling under a heavy load, so I couldn’t help but step in.

Surprisingly, Kuroha was working the same gig.

Kuroha Rino. A bookish, literary type, another classmate. She’s super close with Himari, apparently.

I never expected to run into a classmate here. Her familiar glasses and fluffy green hair caught me off guard. I’d assumed she’d be at cram school or something, like Himari.

“Summer’s prime earning time. I want to work as much as I can,” Kuroha said proudly, like some corporate drone.

“Why’d you pick this job, Gouda-kun?”

“Good pay. Needed cash to have fun.”

“Haha, going out with Himari-chan, huh?”

“Something like that.”

Not just Himari, but I didn’t feel like explaining.

“You going on a trip or something, Kuroha?”

“Why do you ask?”

“You said you’re working a lot. Thought maybe you’re saving for travel or something.”

Kuroha laughed. Was that funny?

“I haven’t gone on a trip in forever. No money for that.”

“Then, what, you going somewhere fun? Or buying something?”

“Hmm…”

Kuroha gave a vague smile. Guess it’s not something she wanted to talk about.

People have their own reasons for working. I don’t exactly broadcast my spending plans either.

“Well, if we get the chance, let’s hang out. Himari’d be happy too.”

“Sure. If we get the chance.”

Kuroha smiled as she worked. Her eyes, behind her glasses, glinted in the sunlight, hard to read.

◇ ◇ ◇

“Rain outta nowhere, huh?”

After work, it was evening, and on my way home, it started pouring.

Whatever, I was just heading home. I sprinted through the rain, not caring if I got wet.

“Erika?”

“Akio-kun…”

A blue-haired beauty was sitting in front of my apartment door.

It felt like forever since I’d seen Erika. At least, it was the first time this summer.

She was soaked from the sudden rain. Even in summer, staying like that could make her sick.

“I’ll let you use the shower. Come inside.”

“…Okay.”

It didn’t seem like my imagination—she looked like she’d been crying. But first things first, she needed to warm up. I let her into my place.

We tossed her wet clothes in the washer and warmed up in the bathroom. No “satisfying” this time.

Something was off with Erika, so I held back. My guy instincts were screaming, though…

Erika hadn’t brought a change of clothes, so I lent her one of my shirts.

It was way too big, swallowing her frame. It covered the important parts, but just a T-shirt? Kinda too sexy, don’t you think?

“Here, drink this to warm up.”

“Thanks… It’s warm.”

Erika looked like she was holding something back even more than I was. I handed her a hot coffee. Warming up inside might help her relax.

“Didn’t expect you to make coffee, Akio-kun. I thought you weren’t the thoughtful type.”

“Rude. …It’s just instant, though.”

Still, I nailed the hot water ratio. The coffee’s probably the perfect strength. When it comes to instant coffee, I might even beat Haya’s cooking skills.

“…”

Erika sipped her coffee slowly. I took a sip from my mug. The sound of rain echoed in the quiet room.

I wanted to ask, “What’s wrong?” but she probably didn’t want me to.

If Erika wanted anything from me, it was probably just for me to stay quiet. That’s our “convenient relationship,” right?

“Erika, if something’s up, I’ll listen.”

Even knowing that, I couldn’t help asking.

She’d listened to my problems before, eased my heart. Now it was my turn to return the favor.

Erika stayed silent for a while, acting like she hadn’t heard, focusing on her coffee.

I scratched my head.

Didn’t matter if she shut me out. I’d protect her no matter what. That’s what I decided for all my girls.

“I told you, didn’t I? You’re my girl, Erika. I’ll protect my girls, no matter what. That’s my promise.”

“Akio-kun…”

Her wet eyes turned toward me. They seemed to waver with hesitation, but after a moment, Erika set her mug down on the table.

She must’ve decided to open up. I downed the last of my now-lukewarm coffee and leaned in, ready to listen.

Erika’s an older university student. To a high schooler like me, she’s a grown woman.

Even so, my principle of protecting my girls doesn’t change. I wanted to be there for her if something was wrong. That’s how much I’d come to care for her.

“…I had a bit of a fight with Papa,” Erika began slowly.

“Right after I started university, they decided on a fiancé for me.”

“A fiancé?”

Fiancés still exist in this day and age? I thought that was just manga stuff… Then again, this is a manga world, isn’t it?

“I wanted to live my life freely. So I asked Papa to call off the engagement. That turned into a fight… It was my first real rebellious phase, so I couldn’t back down. Lately, we’ve been clashing constantly.”

“I see.”

“Papa didn’t like that I wouldn’t change my mind no matter how many times we talked. He said, ‘Where did we go wrong?’… Then he blamed Mama, saying, ‘It’s because you raised her wrong!’”

“…”

“Then Papa and Mama started fighting. All I wanted was to live my own life… I didn’t want this…”

That’s the last thing a kid wants to see—their parents like that.

Erika’s older than me, like a dependable older sister. She’s old enough to drink casually.

But even so, parents’ words can still hurt. Because they’re your parents, they can cause pain.

“…So you ran away from home?”

“…Yeah. It was hard to stay there, and I didn’t know what to do. I had nowhere else to go, so I came here.”

Erika tilted her head with a playful smile, but her voice lacked its usual energy.

“Got it. Don’t force yourself to act tough right now.”

“Ah…”

I pulled her head to my chest.

Careful not to be too rough, I stroked her hair, just like she’d done for me before—gentle, comforting.

“You said we’d keep things convenient, right, Erika? So rely on me. We can figure out what I can or can’t do later. For now, let’s eat a ton, sleep a lot, and then think about what’s next together.”

“Akio-kun…”

Erika cried quietly against my chest. So quietly, I wouldn’t have noticed if not for the wet feeling on my shirt.

Outside, it had gone completely dark, and Erika finally calmed down. Then her stomach let out a cute little growl.

“Alright, you’re hungry, right? I’ll whip up a giant omelet rice. If you can’t finish it, I’ll eat the rest—don’t worry. I’m a pretty big eater, you know?”

“Hehe… I know how much you can eat, Akio-kun…”

Erika gave a small laugh. Her cheeks were still wet, but the tears had stopped.

I didn’t have any right to comment on someone else’s family. But I couldn’t help wondering if they were really thinking about Erika herself.

What could possibly be so important that they’d make such a great daughter this sad? I couldn’t even imagine.

“Hey, Akio-kun.”

“What’s up?”

“Today… pamper me a lot, okay? ♡”

“Leave it to me.”

We ate a ton, got very satisfied, and slept a lot. I learned that fulfilling all three basic human desires makes you feel incredibly happy.

◇ ◇ ◇

To give her some time to cool off, Erika decided to stay at my place for a while.

“It’s kinda like… we’re a couple living together, huh? ♪” Erika said while preparing breakfast.

I couldn’t deny the sweet, bittersweet vibe, so I just scratched my head.

“Let’s go buy some essentials later. You can’t keep wearing my clothes forever.”

Erika had basically left home with nothing. She had a small bag, but staying over meant she’d need more stuff.

“Eh, but I like wearing your clothes. I could wear them forever!” Erika said, pulling the collar of my T-shirt to her face, sniffing it deeply.

It’s washed, but still… That sight alone hit me hard. So this is the power of a boyfriend’s T-shirt…! Also, no matter how oversized it is, pulling it up like that shows off those curvy thighs. If my lower half goes wild, you’re taking responsibility, damn it!

“You can’t go out like that. It’s hot today, so the clothes we washed should dry by noon. We can head out after lunch.”

Good thing I was working that part-time job. I should have enough cash to buy what Erika needs.

“You’re so sweet, Akio-kun… As a thank-you, I’ll give you lots of service ♡”

Erika snuggled up to me. Her silky, semi-long blue hair tickled my skin.

I’d pampered her a lot last night, so maybe that lingering feeling flipped her into full-on clingy mode.

“Jeez, don’t worry about it.”

This wasn’t bad once in a while. I patted her head gently, feeling calm.

“Service, service! ♡”

“Whoa, hey!”

Erika slid down from my chest… lower, to my lower half. And then she started her so-called “service.”

Just when I was starting to feel all calm, she ruined it! Wait, hold on… N-No, not that… U-Uwoooohhh!!

After that, Erika thoroughly satisfied me. That combo of her deep cleavage and upturned eyes was unfairly erotic…

◇ ◇ ◇

“Yo, Akio, I’m back—Erika-san?!” Haya showed up before noon.

“Heya, Himuro-chan. Long time no see!” Erika greeted.

“Seriously, it’s been forever! You doing okay?”

A refined lady and a gyaru—yet somehow, they clicked surprisingly well.

My girls get along great. Watching them chat so comfortably warmed my heart.

“—Wait, no! What’s going on here?!” Haya suddenly roared.

I jumped, but Erika kept her cool, serene smile.

“Erika-san! Why’re you wearing Akio’s T-shirt?! Ugh, I’m jealous!”

Haya stomped her foot. We’re on the second floor of an apartment, so chill, okay?

“I stayed over last night. Being wrapped in Akio-kun’s scent… it was pure bliss ♡,” Erika said, sniffing my shirt again. I told you, it’s washed! …My body odor isn’t that strong, is it?

“Akio! Where’s my share?!”

“My clothes aren’t your personal loungewear, you know.”

“That’s not fair, only Erika-san gets it! Fine, give me the shirt you’re wearing right now!”

“What’s with the rivalry? …Hey, stop pulling!”

Haya’s arrival turned everything chaotic. Typical gyaru… I sighed, looking every bit the delinquent student.

◇ ◇ ◇

“Man, Erika-san’s parents sound like a hassle,” Haya said after I explained why Erika showed up at my place.

Maybe because she’d already told me, or because some time had passed, Erika seemed calmer. She didn’t hesitate to share, probably starting to sort through her feelings.

“So… it’s okay to think they’re a hassle, right?” Erika asked.

“Like, not being able to date freely these days? No way. Parents who control everything like that—I couldn’t stand it,” Haya said.

Letting her run too free might turn her into a total airhead, though. I kept that rude thought to myself while looking at Haya.

“Anyway, Erika and her parents need time to cool off. Until then, I’m letting her stay here.”

“You’re such a caretaker, Akio,” Haya said with a grin. …What’s with that look?

“You don’t shy away from getting involved. You don’t even realize how much that means, how reliable it makes you,” Haya added.

“Huh?”

“Hehe. Maybe that’s why we’re all drawn to you, Akio-kun—because you do stuff like that without even thinking,” Erika chimed in.

“Uh?”

Haya and Erika giggled in sync, saying, “Right?” I was the only one confused. I didn’t do anything special, did I?

“If that’s how it is, lean on Akio as much as you want, Erika-san. I’ll help too—let’s fight for your youth!” Haya declared.

“My… youth?” Erika tilted her head.

“Yeah, youth! Akio changed so much because he chased his youth, right? And you’re trying to change things because you don’t want your parents to steal yours, aren’t you?”

“Yeah… Maybe you’re right.”

Erika closed her eyes, as if sorting her thoughts.

“Right… I was raised to obey my parents, had my relationships restricted, forced to suppress everything I wanted to do. They even decided my fiancé… If my whole life’s gonna be about holding back, I want to rebel to take back my youth.”

“If that’s your true feelings, Erika, I’ll fight alongside you,” I said.

“I’m in too!” Haya added.

Erika smiled—a cute, older-sister kind of smile.

“Akio-kun, Himuro-chan. Thank you both. I know it’s a lot, but I’m counting on you.”

And with that, Erika took our hands.

◇ ◇ ◇

Once Erika’s clothes dried, we headed out shopping.

Good thing Haya came along. I’m useless for women’s shopping except as a pack mule.

“Erika-san, Erika-san, isn’t this cute?” Haya asked.

“Oh, it’s adorable!” Erika replied.

I watched them excitedly chat, feeling a bit out of place. Thank god Haya was here. I know nothing about trendy nails or whatever. …Without her, I wouldn’t even be in a store like this.

“Sorry, Akio-kun. You brought me shopping, and we’re wasting time on unrelated stuff,” Erika said.

“Don’t worry about it. I’ve never gone shopping with you like this before. Since we’re here, show me what you’re into.”

“Yeah. I want to know what you’re interested in too, Akio-kun.”

Shopping with Erika and Haya was fun. If it was just me, I’d grab what I needed and leave. Enjoying the act of shopping itself felt new.

Actually going along, I was shocked by how many daily essentials women need. Guys have it cheaper, apparently.

“Akio doesn’t spend much on himself, huh? Some high school guys carry stupidly expensive wallets, you know,” Haya said.

“Not interested in wallets. What matters is what’s inside, right?”

“True. High schoolers’ wallets are pretty empty even with part-time jobs. Showing off with stuff beyond your means just looks lame,” Erika said.

Plus, with digital payments these days, I don’t see the point of a bulky wallet.

“Erika-san’s wallet looks so classy. Where’d you get it?” Haya asked.

“My parents bought it for me… I haven’t really chosen much for myself,” Erika said, her expression darkening. She must’ve realized how her parents had taken away her choices, leaving her conflicted.

Just buying expensive stuff doesn’t make someone happy. Kids don’t measure their parents’ love by the price tag.

“Akio, try this on!” Haya said.

“Looks good! You’re tall, so it suits you. Now try this one, Akio-kun,” Erika added.

The two girls turned me into a dress-up doll. Isn’t this supposed to be about watching girls try on clothes? I’m the villain—nobody cares about my fashion…

“Hey, why am I the only one trying stuff on? We’re here to buy Erika’s clothes, aren’t we?”

“But it’s fun!” Haya protested.

“It’s such a rare chance,” Erika added.

They burst out laughing. You two really get along, huh? And what’s this “chance” nonsense? Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Heroine fanservice scenes are important, you know.

Despite the chaos, time passed lively. I hoped Erika’s heavy heart was feeling a bit lighter.

◇ ◇ ◇

“You bought so much… Are you sure it’s okay?” Erika asked worriedly as we headed back.

“You’ve done a lot for me, Erika. I can afford this much. Just lean on me.”

That day-labor job was a lifesaver. Money’s never a bad thing when it comes to supporting someone important.

“Man, not only did you buy all this, you’re carrying it too. You’re so dependable, Akio,” Haya said.

“You stay out of it, Haya.”

Haya had sneakily grabbed stuff she wanted while we were shopping for Erika. Well, she’s helped me out too, so I let it slide.

We were walking back to the apartment in that warm, fuzzy atmosphere when—

“Eek!? Watch out…! What’s that?!”

A black car screeched to a stop, blocking our path. The loud brakes startled Haya.

An intimidating luxury car. Whoever’s inside isn’t your average Joe.

The back door opened. I stepped in front of the girls, shielding them.

“Long time no see, Erika-san!” said a young man, stepping out. College-aged, maybe? Around Erika’s age.

Well-dressed, clearly from money, with that rich-kid vibe. And he called Erika’s name so casually. This guy… could he be…?

“Takeru-san…” Erika muttered.

No doubt about it—he’s someone she knows.

“Didn’t expect to run into you here, Erika-san! This must be fate. Our bond is tied by an unbreakable red thread of destiny!” he declared.

“…”

What’s with this guy? I know it’s rude to judge on a first meeting, but he’s giving off major weirdo vibes. Look, even Erika’s gone quiet.

“Akio, is this guy…?” Haya whispered.

“Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing,” I replied.

Haya seemed to catch on too. We exchanged a nod, confirming we were on the same page.

For now, this Takeru guy probably saw us as outsiders, so we decided to observe how things played out.

“Um, I’m in the middle of something. Sorry, but I’ll be going now,” Erika said.

“What a coincidence. I’m out on personal business too. See? We’re so in sync,” Takeru replied.

“I see. Well, you seem busy too, Takeru-san, so I’ll excuse myself.”

“Two people so in sync should spend more time together, don’t you think? How about we talk about our future?”

“…”

Erika was clearly uncomfortable. Erika, of all people.

Except for last night, she was usually so calm and composed, so seeing her visibly troubled was rare.

Even I could tell this guy wasn’t getting through to her. It might be too soon, but I’d step in.

“Uh, excuse me,” I said.

“Hm? Who’re you?” Takeru asked, looking at me like he’d just noticed me. Was he so focused on Erika that he didn’t see me standing right here the whole time? That’s some tunnel vision…

“I’m Gouda Akio. Erika’s… friend.”

Obviously, I didn’t specify what kind of friend. I’m a villain who can read the room, after all.

“Oh… you’re Erika-san’s friend?” Takeru said, sizing me up from head to toe before letting out a mocking snort.

“Completely unsuitable. Someone as refined as me can tell. You lack class. You’re not fit to be by Erika-san’s side.”

“What…?! Who the hell are you to say that—?” Haya started, unable to hold back, but Takeru cut her off.

“I’m Saionji Takeru. Erika-san’s fiancé! That means I have a duty to oversee her social circle,” he declared, puffing out his chest without a hint of shame.

“…”

His brazen statement left me speechless. What do you even say to that? Where do you start?

I glanced at Erika. She shook her head weakly.

Her parents were bad enough, and now her fiancé’s this kind of guy? Surrounded by control freaks—hardly funny.

“Huh? Fiancé or not, you don’t get to dictate who she hangs out with!” Haya snapped, unable to hold back any longer.

“…And you are?” Takeru finally acknowledged her, turning a cold gaze her way. Probably pegged her as my type based on her appearance. He gave her the same condescending smile.

“Himuro Haya. I’m Erika-san’s friend too. Don’t you get that you and Erika-san aren’t even on the same wavelength? If you’re gonna spout off about fate, at least listen to what she’s saying.”

“…Such a poorly mannered young lady. Shall I discipline you in place of your pathetic parents?” Takeru’s smile turned cruel, almost sadistic.

That set off alarm bells. I raised a hand to signal Haya to step back.

“We’re high schoolers, you know. That kind of talk toward a high school girl isn’t exactly commendable,” I said.

“High schoolers?” Takeru repeated, scanning me from head to toe again. Being stared at by a guy isn’t exactly pleasant.

I get it, though. With Gouda Akio’s rough face and solid build, I probably don’t look like a high schooler without my uniform.

Haya, with her perfect makeup, could pass for a college student too. Without it, she’s got that innocent, cute vibe, though.

Takeru’s gaze shifted to Haya. I didn’t like him ogling her, so I stepped in front to block his view.

“Either way, you two aren’t suitable for Erika-san. What if you corrupt her purity? You and Erika-san are from different worlds. Know your place,” Takeru said.

“You’re Saionji, right? You call Erika pure, but how much time have you actually spent with her?” I shot back.

“What? She’s my fiancée. It’s only natural she’d be pure and beautiful.”

“You’re… really something else,” I muttered.

Talking to this guy felt pointless. No matter how much we argued, it’d be a waste of breath.

“Takeru-san, I said I have things to do, didn’t I? You seem busy too, so I’ll be going,” Erika interjected, sensing the tension and forcefully cutting the conversation short.

“Wait, Erika-san. Associating with these people will only tarnish your dignity. If you have errands, I’ll drive you,” Takeru insisted.

“I don’t need dignity that’s ruined by something so trivial,” Erika replied.

“…What?” Takeru’s eyes widened, clearly not expecting her to talk back.

“Akio-kun and Himuro-chan protect me. I’ve never had people who genuinely care about me and act on it… So—” Erika paused, flashing her usual warm, confident smile.

“I don’t like you, Takeru-san, for badmouthing my friends ♪”

Satisfied with saying her piece, Erika gave a polite bow and turned to walk away. Haya and I followed, pulled along by her momentum.

“W-Wait, Erika-san? Uh, what do you—” Takeru stammered.

“Young Master Takeru, we need to go, or we’ll be late,” an older man—probably his driver—interrupted.

Relieved he wasn’t chasing after us, I let out a sigh.

“Phew…” Erika exhaled deeply once Takeru was out of sight.

“You okay, Erika-san?” Haya asked.

“Yeah. Thanks, Himuro-chan. I was really happy you stood up for me,” Erika said, smiling, though she looked exhausted. Dealing with that guy would tire anyone out.

“I’m the one who should apologize for dragging you into this…” Erika added.

“No way, it’s fine. I don’t feel dragged into anything,” Haya reassured her.

“Like Haya said, don’t worry about it. I decided to protect you the moment I heard your story. A fiancé’s nothing to sweat over,” I added.

Still, it wasn’t great that Takeru saw Erika with us. Her parents would probably hear about this. It might not be immediate, but them finding out she’s staying at my place could just be a matter of time.

“Let’s hurry back to Akio’s place and talk there,” Haya suggested.

“Yeah. I’m exhausted. I just want to relax,” Erika agreed.

We set off for home again. There was a lot to think about, but we could deal with it after settling in.

◇ ◇ ◇

The moment I opened the door, a flash of pink filled my vision.

“Akio-kuuun! I missed you so much! ♡♡♡” Himari cried, launching herself at me with the force of a tackle.

“Whoa!?” I yelped as her ample chest pressed against me, squeezing tightly without a care.

“Wow, Akio-kun’s sweat smell… ♡ This scent, this feeling… It’s been too long! ♡ Can I savor it more?” Himari said, practically swooning over my body odor.

It’d only been a few days, and she’s already acting like a pervert…

“…”

Himari was shamelessly rubbing her face against my chest and stomach when she finally noticed Haya and Erika staring silently. She froze like a statue.

“…Ahem!” Clearing her throat, Himari stepped back and flashed a pure, innocent smile at the two behind me.

“Welcome back, Haya-chan, Erika-san. It’s hot out there, right? Come in, come in. I kept the room nice and cool!”

Yeah, no big deal. Haya and Erika just gave her warm, amused looks.

◇ ◇ ◆

Summer vacation started, and cram school kicked off right away.

It was supposed to be my summer with Akio-kun. To enjoy the beach or festivals, I had to focus on studying now.

“Akio-kun… I miss you, I miss you so much… Ughhh! I’m running low on Akio-kun vibes!” I whined.

I’d planned to grind now and play later, but from day one, my patience crumbled.

“Hah, hah, hah… I’m at my limit,” I panted.

A few more days, and my Akio-kun reserves were completely depleted.

“He’s not here! Akio-kun? Where’s Akio-kun!?”

On impulse, I skipped cram school to see him. Of course, he wasn’t home.

I’d rushed over without even texting. Sending a message now felt like admitting defeat.

“Fine, I’ll wait. Hehe, when Akio-kun gets back, I’ll give him the full hospitality treatment!”

I started cleaning his place to prepare. Not that it took long—Haya-chan keeps it tidy as is.

“…Mind if I rest a bit?” I muttered.

With nothing else to do, I lay on Akio-kun’s bed.

His lingering scent relaxed me. I hadn’t realized how tired I was from studying. Succumbing to sleepiness, I drifted off.

Maybe because his bed was steeped in his scent, I dreamed of him holding me. It was so comforting, I slept like a rock.

“Huh!? Akio-kun… He’s coming!” I jolted awake, sensing his return instinctively.

I quickly fixed myself up to greet him. Soon after, the door opened.

“Akio-kuuun! I missed you so much! ♡♡♡” I cried, rushing to him the moment I saw his big frame.

I pressed my face into his chest, hugging him tightly. He’d been out, so he was sweaty—a delicious scent tickling my nose.

“Wow, Akio-kun’s sweat smell… ♡ This scent, this feeling… It’s been too long! ♡ Can I savor it more?” I said, rubbing my face against him, instinctively seeking out the strongest parts of his scent.

Maybe his armpits? I was about to ask him to lift his arm when—

“…”

I felt two pairs of eyes on me. Looking behind Akio-kun, I saw Haya-chan smirking and Erika-san smiling.

“…Ahem!” I tried to play it off with a cough, but my face was burning. I knew it was futile, but I forced a smile.

“Welcome back, Haya-chan, Erika-san. It’s hot out there, right? Come in, come in. I kept the room nice and cool!”

After that, they teased me mercilessly… but Akio-kun patted my head, so I was over the moon! ♡

“What’s with that creep?!” Himari exclaimed, slamming the table in anger after Erika recounted the run-in with Saionji.

“Shiratori-chan…” Erika’s voice trembled, touched by Himari’s outrage on her behalf.

“Erika-san’s parents are nuts too. Knowing a guy like that and still picking him as her fiancé? That’s next-level. Do they even want her to have a decent marriage?” Haya said, pursing her lips.

Erika was probably like an older sister to her. Even if her anger had cooled a bit, it wasn’t fading easily.

“Just to be clear, Erika, you don’t want to marry this Saionji guy, right?” I asked, confirming once more. Her feelings were the most important thing.

“Yeah. It’s not just that they decided on a fiancé without asking me, but I can’t stand him as a person either,” Erika said.

No surprise there. Haya, who’d seen him in person, and Himari, who’d just heard the story, both nodded firmly.

“Then we’ve gotta do something,” I said.

The problem was how.

This time, we were dealing with adults—Erika’s parents and a rich-kid fiancé, a tricky combo.

Brute force would only make things worse. Plus, Erika didn’t completely hate her parents. A solution that left their relationship irreparable wasn’t ideal.

“…This is tough,” I muttered.

“Akio-kun?” Erika asked.

“Just thinking out loud. For now, you’re staying here, right? We’ll help, so take your time figuring out what you want to do.”

Erika smiled and said, “Thank you.” There was still a shadow in her expression, but she seemed to be recovering a bit.

“Ahem! Uh, I want to cheer Erika-san up too, so I’m staying over tonight,” Himari announced with an exaggerated cough.

“Don’t you have cram school? That’s pushing it. Leave Erika to me,” I said.

“Ugh! I hate how dependable you are right now, Akio-kun!” Himari groaned, glaring at me. Why did that glare feel kinda cute?

“Hey, hey! I wanna stay over too! I don’t study, so it’s fine, right?” Haya piped up.

“Idiot. You need to study too. You’ve got homework,” I shot back.

“Ugh! I hate you, Akio!” Haya whined.

“You hate studying that much?!” I retorted.

I gave Haya a light chop on the head. She let out a dramatic “O-O-Ow…” and writhed in pain. …Oops, might’ve hit too hard.

“That’s it! I’ll tutor Haya-chan. Let’s have a study camp at Akio-kun’s place!” Himari declared, clapping her hands like she’d had a brilliant idea. How bad does this honor student want to crash here?

“Oh, that’s perfect! Right, Aki?” Haya jumped on the idea, giving me those puppy-dog eyes. Damn it, stop being cute!

“You guys just want to goof off,” I said.

They both looked away. Haya’s one thing, but Himari’s supposed to be an honor student—try to hide it!

“No way this time. Study at home,” I insisted.

“Come on, Akio-kun. I’ll help with studying too. Let’s have a study camp together,” Erika said, calming the situation.

“Erika-san’s the best! I’m sticking with her!”

“I knew Erika-san would get it!” Himari added.

With Erika’s support, they showered her with praise. Majority rules—I was outvoted.

“…Plus, keeping busy helps take my mind off things,” Erika added quietly.

That sealed it. I scratched my head. If that’s what Erika wanted, I wasn’t going to argue.

“…Fine. Everyone can stay over tonight.”

““Yay!!””

Erika watched Himari and Haya rejoice with a fond smile, radiating an almost maternal warmth.

Dinner was prepared by Himari, who insisted, “I want to treat everyone!” She must’ve been stressed from cram school, because by the time we gathered around the table, her face was glowing with a wide, radiant smile.

A delicious meal filled our stomachs and brought a sense of ease to our hearts. No matter what you’re doing, eating well comes first.

“Ugh, what is this? I don’t get it!” Haya groaned.

“Why don’t you get it? I’ve explained it multiple times—just do it like this,” Himari said.

“I’m telling you, I don’t understand what you’re saying, Himarin!” Haya whined.

After a break, the study session began.

Himari was tutoring Haya, but Haya’s constant complaints showed she wasn’t grasping anything. I thought Himari’s explanations were clear, but Haya just couldn’t keep up.

“Does Himuro-chan hate studying?” Erika asked, observing the scene.

“Yeah, pretty much,” I replied.

Erika tilted her head, pondering something as she watched Haya struggle.

“Hey, Himuro-chan,” Erika called out.

“W-What’s up?” Haya turned, looking exhausted. Come on, it hadn’t even been an hour.

“What do you like?” Erika asked.

“Huh? Akio, obviously,” Haya answered without hesitation.

“Uh… I meant, like, hobbies or favorite foods, stuff like that…” Erika clarified.

“Eek!? I-I mean, uh…” Haya’s face turned beet red as she stammered. Her embarrassment was starting to rub off on me.

“Okay, then imagine yourself attending the same university as Akio-kun,” Erika suggested.

“Aki… at the same university?” Haya mused, looking up as if picturing it. She’s so earnest.

“A fun campus life,” Erika continued. “Sitting side by side in lectures, going wild in clubs, talking about your future while getting all lovey-dovey… A fulfilling college experience.”

“Ohh…” Haya’s eyes sparkled as Erika’s words sank in.

“And you could study for entrance exams with Akio-kun, right? Working toward the same goal with someone you love—that’s pretty romantic, don’t you think?” Erika whispered in her ear.

“Akio! Come sit next to me! We’re studying together!” Haya called, patting the spot beside her, her motivation skyrocketing thanks to Erika’s pep talk.

“For Haya-chan, it’s not just about struggling with problems—she hadn’t found a reason to study. Even if you’re not great at it, motivation can change everything,” Erika said with a bright smile.

I couldn’t help but feel she was someone I could rely on.

Haya tackled her studies with a focus that was almost intimidating. Erika’s ability to spark that kind of drive with just a few words was impressive.

“It’s not just that—Haya-chan really loves you, Akio-kun. Enough to take her least favorite thing seriously,” Himari teased, nudging me with her elbow. Hey, cut it out—don’t tease me like that.

Spurred on by Haya’s intensity, we all dove into our own studies.

“Good job, everyone. Let’s call it a day,” Erika announced, having taken on the teacher role.

“Thanks, Erika-san! Phew, I studied so much my brain feels empty!” Haya said, slumping onto the table, but her face showed satisfaction.

“You’re pretty good at studying too, Akio-kun. Given your school, you could aim for a higher rank, don’t you think?” Erika said.

“Really? Well, if you say so, maybe I’ll try harder,” I replied.

Even knowing she was flattering me, I couldn’t help but feel pleased. Something about Erika’s tone and vibe made me want to push myself.

“Now, after all that studying… don’t you wanna unwind? ♡” Erika said with a mischievous glint.

Haya and Himari perked up instantly.

“Totally! I worked super hard, so I need to de-stress!” Haya cheered.

“Haya-chan, you don’t even know what Erika-san means by unwind, do you?” Himari smirked.

“Huh? Unwinding means doing something fun, right? Not just playing?” Haya asked.

“Well, it’s fun in a way, but…” Himari leaned in, whispering the real meaning to Haya.

The blonde gyaru’s face turned scarlet, like a kettle boiling over. “H-Huh?!”

“Himuro-chan’s still so innocent. I’m a little jealous,” Erika said, wrapping her arms around me. Any trace of innocence in her was long gone, replaced by a sultry allure that made my head spin.

Surrounded by girls, I’d be lying if I said I felt nothing. If they wanted to unwind, I was all for it.

“Let’s hit the bath first. Oh, and we need to prep the bedding,” I said.

“Why don’t we all just sleep in your bed, Akio-kun?” Haya suggested.

“Don’t be ridiculous. My bed’s not that big,” I replied.

Two might fit, but three would be cramped. Four? Someone’d end up sleeping on top of me. I’d tried that once—way too tight.

“I’ve got spare bedding in the closet, but for four, we’d need to split into pairs,” I said.

The moment I did, the air shifted.

“Pairs…” Himari murmured.

“Only one gets to sleep with Aki…” Haya added.

Their vibes turned ominous. Why are your eyes so scary, guys?

“Then how about this: whoever makes Akio-kun unwind the most gets to pick their sleeping spot?” Erika suggested with a grin.

I swear I heard a gong ring.

“Let’s get to the bath, Akio-kun ♡,” Erika said, pulling my arm.

“Wait, we can take turns. My bath’s small,” I protested.

She was already raring to satisfy me.

“It’s more economical to go together. Picture it—surrounded by girls, getting your body washed… Doesn’t that sound nice?” Erika teased.

Her words painted a vivid image: enveloped in their sweet scents, sandwiched between three sets of generous curves… I saw heaven.

“…”

“Come on, you two. Now’s your chance to appeal to Akio-kun while he’s wavering,” Erika urged.

As I was half-tripping out, I felt something soft envelop my other arm—like my fantasy had come to life.

Himari was clinging to me, her ample chest pressing against my arm with force, the pink sensation overwhelming my senses.

“Akio-kun… ♡ I’ll wash you thoroughly ♡,” she purred.

What exactly was she washing? I knew the answer but played dumb.

With Erika and Himari claiming my arms, Haya lagged behind, panicking. But then, with resolve, she approached.

“Aki…” she said softly, hugging me from the front.

“I… I wanna sleep with you, Aki… ♡,” she mumbled, burying her face in my chest, her upturned eyes shy.

“Oh…!” I gasped.

The impact was devastating. Their appeals painted my mind pink.

Pink thoughts in my head, and down below… the dark desires of an adult manga villain surged.

“…Heh. You’re all in for it now,” I said, slipping into my villain mode.

The three shivered—not from fear, but from anticipation of what was to come.

◇ ◇ ◇

“Sleeping alone with Akio-kun feels so good… ♡,” Erika murmured.

She’d come at it with full force and won.

Even with Gouda Akio’s cheat physique, I nearly lost consciousness. Is Erika’s technique getting better?

Himari and Haya were out cold, sleeping soundly together on the spare bedding. They’d been incredible, but Erika had targeted my weak spots with precision.

“What would that fiancé of yours think if he saw how naughty you are?” I teased, leaning into my villain persona.

“Don’t remind me of him right now,” Erika shot back, shutting me down.

“Sorry. My bad,” I said.

“It’s okay. I’m just… exhausted. Right now, I only want to feel you, Akio-kun.”

It wasn’t just from our earlier activities. Everything weighing on her—her parents, her fiancé—was draining her body and soul.

I held her gently, noticing how tense she was, wanting to let her lean on me.

I stroked her head, running my fingers through her semi-long blue hair.

As I did, her tension melted away, her eyes growing heavy.

“Sleepy?” I asked.

“…Yeah,” she murmured.

“Rest easy. I’m right here. As long as I’m by your side, you’ll only have good dreams.”

“Thanks… Akio-kun…”

Her soft, steady breathing filled the air. Her warm, gentle presence entrusted itself to me.

“Man… Gouda Akio’s changed, huh? Even if they called me a sleazy manga villain, these girls probably wouldn’t believe it,” I muttered, feeling reassured by her warmth as I drifted off.
