I’m thrilled to announce that Volume 7 of Otomei has been successfully released.
When the first volume came out, I hoped the series would continue, but to think it’s made it this far… Reaching seven volumes feels like a dream, and I’m genuinely overjoyed.
To Giuniu-sensei, who’s been illustrating Otomei since the very beginning.
To all the readers who’ve stuck with Otomei through thick and thin.
To my editor, who’s been running this race alongside me.
It’s thanks to the support of so many people that Otomei has come this far.
I always include thanks in my afterwords, but let me say it again here—thank you!
Now, I’ve got more gratitude to share…
Otomei has grown into a long, long story, reaching seven volumes, and thanks to that, the series has surpassed 300,000 copies in total sales.
With tons of reprints, I sometimes wonder if this is all too good to be true… Is this really my work? But I can hold my head high and say with confidence that Otomei is something I—I—wrote, and that’s all because of you.
Of course, that total includes the manga adaptation, which has been warmly received by so many. I’m deeply grateful to Shiba Junjiko-sensei, who’s been handling the manga. Thank you! Your sexy artwork always leaves me beyond satisfied—please, keep it coming…!

On the topic of Otomei, we’ve also released an ASMR!
This is an afterword, but I’d love to gush a bit about the ASMR.
In a word: amazing!
Through the ASMR, Arisa and Aina were brought to life with voices.
To Hinata Yuki-san, who voiced Arisa.
To Asami Yui-san, who voiced Aina.
Thank you for delivering such cute, sexy, and utterly meltingly sweet performances!
Favorite scenes? If I had to pick, I’d say all of them, but I’m especially fond of the ear-cleaning and sleep-sharing moments.
There’s just something about the two of them together that makes Otomei what it is. Personally, I’m a sucker for being sandwiched between them… It’s just the best.
Hearing the sisters’ voices alternating through the earphones—Arisa on one side, Aina on the other—I was practically buzzing with excitement.
I hadn’t listened to much ASMR before, but that thrilling shiver running down my spine? Totally addictive.
And to think it was an ASMR born from my work… That experience feels like one of the greatest moments of my life.

Now, this is getting long, but I’m not done yet!
With Volume 7, Hayato and the sisters’ relationship has progressed significantly.
It’s hard to put into words, but as lovers, doing… well, intimate things (weird way to phrase it, I know) has finally happened. Hayato’s completely fallen for the sisters.
It took a long time to get here, thanks to Hayato’s iron will. Some readers might’ve been wondering when it would happen, but we’re finally there.
Dating has deepened their feelings, and getting physical has made those feelings even stronger, but Hayato and the sisters’ story is far from over.
I want to write even sexier, sweeter, and totally lovey-dovey moments between Hayato and the sisters!
I want more support from you readers!
I want to reach new readers…!
With those hopes in my heart, I’ll keep writing the stories I want to tell without stopping.
