Intermission: Lilia’s Anguish ③

Injured from the fight with the dragon, I was in so much pain I could barely breathe.

Every time the carriage jolted on the rough road, sharp pain shot through my body.

I put on a brave face in front of Leon-san, but my injuries were severe. The herbs I had couldn’t help, so I had to endure until I reached the school.

To distract myself, I thought back on today’s events.

It was a predictable outcome, but part of me felt relieved. Maybe because it meant he likely hadn’t gotten too entangled with Sierra-san or Fiona-san.
