Thank you so much for picking up Volume 3! I’m KT.

Believe it or not, this time we have two whole pages for the afterword! This is a new record for the series!

At this rate, I’m thinking of adding one page per volume until I’m writing twenty or thirty pages of afterword at once!

Okay, that was a joke. But here’s something that isn’t: as of March 31, 2026, the manga adaptation of Brainwashing Skill for Another World Peerless!? has officially begun serialization on the smartphone app 『Comic Gardo+』! (And for those on the main Comic Gardo site, it starts on Friday, April 3rd! Check the official site for details!)

As the original author, I’ve had the privilege of reading it a bit ahead of everyone else. The way the manga artist, Shiira Masaki-sensei, draws Hugh and the gang is just so expressive. They’ve managed to pull out every ounce of charm and personality that I couldn't quite capture with words alone.

I know I’m biased, but seriously—it’s a fantastic manga.

When the serialization starts, please, please give it a read!

Now, with Volume 3 out and the manga starting, we have to talk about the title: Brainwashing Skill for Another World Peerless!? ~ I Tried to Live a Wholesome and Honest Life Because I’d Be Executed if My Skill Were Found Out, but for Some Reason, I’m Being Loved by Beautiful Girls. ...Yeah, even as the author, I have to admit: that is a long title!

I think it’s about time we came up with a proper abbreviation.

Currently, my editor, O-sama, and I just call it “Brainwashing Skill,” but making that the official nickname feels a bit... well, dicey for a lot of reasons (not to mention it makes ego-searching a nightmare). I’d love to find something a bit punchier.

Sometimes I just shorten it to Brainwashing Skill for Another World Peerless!?, but that doesn't really feel like a nickname, does it? I was hoping for something cute—like Sen-Musu or Suki-Suki!

If you have any ideas for a good abbreviation, I’d love to hear them in the surveys or on X (formerly Twitter)!
