Afterword
Hello, everyone. Are you living each day satisfied? Mizugame here.
Thanks to your support, I was able to publish the second volume of my debut work. Thank you so much!
This volume’s main heroine is Erika-san, the mysterious older sister from volume one. It’s a story about her engagement… and family issues.
I was worried if this content was okay to publish, so I consulted my editor, S-shi, who said, “It’s an ero-manga world, so it’s fine.” This is a work of fiction, so please enjoy it with peace of mind (wink).
While writing this, I thought about how much parents should interfere in their kids’ lives.
My answer? “It depends.” Please, no stone-throwing.
Over-controlling or neglecting—neither’s great, but they’re not always wrong either.
Take my middle school friend, A-kun. He had lessons every day, and we all felt sorry he had no time to play. But he never complained, always smiled, and I heard he’s living a successful life now (through the grapevine).
I met A-kun’s mom after becoming visually impaired.
It was just a chance encounter while walking my dog. She was surprised to see me with a white cane in one hand and my dog’s leash in the other.
It was my first real talk with her, but she left a kind impression. Sure, she’s polite because I’m a stranger, but still.
I thought she was a strict parent, making A-kun take all those lessons. But she spoke about him with such care.
What’s good or bad in raising kids varies. But I think the key is “talking and understanding each other.”
Can Erika-san talk to her parents like that? If you haven’t read the main story yet, I’d be thrilled if you cheered for her efforts.
Now, my thanks.
To my editor, S-shi, thank you for giving the green light to this story! I’ll keep working hard to repay you.
To the illustrator, Neshia-sama, your consistently erotic and cute heroines keep me grinning. Thank you for the art that satisfies gentlemen!
To my beloved wife, thank you for all your help. I’m a handful, Mizugame, but I hope you’ll keep supporting me.
And to everyone who picked up this book—thank you. Most of you probably bought volume one too. If you’re new with volume two, maybe the art caught your eye. If so, I’m grateful for this meeting. I hope you enjoy it satisfyingly. Thank you for reading to the end!
