[ENG] TS tensei bishōjo-on tora Reiko wa netora reiko Volume 2 Short Story

Digital Edition Special: Thus Spoke Netora-chan ~Flight Arc~

And so, we somehow reached Volume 2.

Hello, I’m Netora Reiko. Long time no see.

While offering my gratitude and respect to everyone at the HJ Bunko editorial department for allowing the series to continue, I intend to continue treating these pages as my own personal doujinshi.

I hope my editor, Mr. A, continues to work hard as a "Tank" to manage the "aggro" coming from all directions. Humans are creatures that help each other out, after all. Lookin' forward to workin' with ya.

...Well, even though I say that, it hasn't been decided if Volume 3 will come out yet.

Again? I let out a deep sigh.

However, even if it ends with Volume 2, I’ve wrapped up the story at a pretty good stopping point in this volume. Even if the series publication stops here, I think it’s a story with a decent sense of satisfaction. It is, right? I hope it is.

I truly feel my heart aching over presenting this monologue, which sounds like nothing but complaining, as a digital edition bonus. But I have a very large debt of gratitude toward my editor, Mr. A, for picking up this work.

If such a benefactor asks me to "write a special short story," then as someone who values loyalty and human emotion, I have no choice but to write a little story, even while my heart aches.

Well, there weren't any specific instructions regarding the content, and we didn't have a meeting about it, so the responsibility is split 50/50, right?

It’s called "supervisory responsibility." Don't let me run wild. Hold the reins properly. I finished my theoretical armament, which was thinner than plastic wrap.

“Don't you think so too?”

I spoke with all my heart to the upper half of the man rolling on the floor.

...From the cross-section of the man, who had been torn apart from the waist down, it wasn't flesh, blood, or bone that jumped out, but a steel frame and colorful cables.

Great Boss-kun... you’ve fallen asleep. Into an eternal, peaceful slumber...

Now, the name of the man next to me, exposing a death mask distorted by fear and despair, is Great Boss-kun.

He was the boss of the evil secret society "Eiai-kai," which sent Alpha and Beta after me in the main story. He is not human—simply put, he’s an android.

They could’ve just left a normal junior high girl like me alone, but these guys kept interfering with my and Yuu-kun’s rom-com. So, I went to the Great Boss’s secret base for a direct negotiation, and one thing led to another, and I ended up tearing his body into "A-parts" and "B-parts." It couldn't be helped. It’s what you call "justifiable self-defense."

Justifiable self-defense... what a wonderful phrase. To protect one's own rights, resisting is permitted when absolutely necessary. In other words, I’m not at fault in the slightest.

“R-Reiko-sama... congratulations. Now Eiai-kai belongs to you...”

While I was asserting my own righteousness, a man with a servile smile plastered on his face approached me, rubbing his hands together.

He is also an android and an executive of Eiai-kai, but at the same time, he’s my mole.

When I poked him a little from behind, he easily defected to my side.

He’s a man with promise who understands that his own life is more important than loyalty to the organization. I sat down heavily on the pile of wreckage of the idiot robots who didn't understand that simple fact and tried to defy me. Bodies everywhere. It’s a great view.

“Stop that, Lambda-san. A student’s duty is study, you know? Let the remaining people handle the management of the organization as they please. I won't meddle.”

“I-I understand. Henceforth, Eiai-kai will do its utmost not to incur your displeasure, Reiko-sama. So, please—”

I cut off Lambda’s words, softly placed my hand on his shoulder, and smiled at him.

“You don't have to be so scared you look like you’re gonna puke. There’s nothing to fear... aren't we friends?”

“Y-Yes...”

Well, I’ve eliminated the eyesore flies, and I’ve obtained a pawn who can't disobey my orders, so I’m in a great mood. When I need some dirty work done for my future "Yuu-kun NTR Plan," I’ll rely on him. This is the "Power of Friendship." The future looks bright, baby!

I left the cleanup of the site entirely to Lambda and departed from the evil secret base in high spirits. Justice was served.
