Afterword
Hello everyone, this is Azuma.
On a personal note, I made my professional debut as a writer in February of last year, marking exactly one year and three months in the industry. It was an anxious start where I barely knew my left from my right, but thanks to the kind and thorough guidance of my editor, Mr. Kobayashi, I've managed to come this far.
I do have one apology to make to everyone. Truth be told, I wanted to deliver Volume 4 to you much sooner, but the writing didn't progress as smoothly as I had hoped, resulting in a six-month wait for this new release. I sincerely apologize to all my readers, my editor Mr. Kobayashi, Won-sensei, and everyone involved for keeping you waiting for so long.
The fact that I am able to write this afterword means I've somehow managed to scale that wall, but I cannot afford to relax just yet. Indeed, the wall of keeping the series going still looms ahead. Recently, a reader on Kakuyomu sent me some heavy yet incredibly encouraging words: "Since Won-sensei is handling the illustrations, surely you can keep going up to Volume 20, right?" It sends a cold sweat down my spine, but I have no choice but to brace myself and do my absolute best!
The main heroines this time around were succubi, who, as Nord points out in the main text, tend to have a reputation for being loose and sexually uninhibited. For that reason, I deliberately went with a highly devoted, single-minded take on a succubus—how did you find it? Oh, and rest assured, she certainly lets herself go wild in front of the one she loves.
Also, we must not forget the manga adaptation! I am incredibly grateful to have received the offer, and production is steadily underway. Once it becomes available for everyone to read, I would be moved to tears of joy as the original author if you would give it a look. Please continue to support both the upcoming manga and my novel series, Eroge Count's Daughter!
