First and foremost, thank you for picking up Volume 2 of The Case of Saving a Kidnapped Girl Who Turned Out to Be a Princess in Disguise, or Incognito Princess for short!
I’d also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in the publication process, including my editor, the talented illustrator Noyu-sensei, and all the other contributors.
It’s thanks to your support that we were able to deliver this second volume to our readers.
In particular, I caused some trouble for my editor due to health issues and hospitalization. Their considerate adjustments allowed me to work at a manageable pace and successfully bring this volume to completion.
As for Noyu-sensei, the illustrations for this volume are, as always, absolutely stunning! Luna on the cover is unbelievably cute and beautiful, and the frontispiece and other illustrations are equally phenomenal.
Above all, Lily-chan, who makes her debut in this volume, has an utterly perfect character design! She’s so adorable that just looking at her brings a smile to my face. While Lily-chan may have caused some chaos for Seito and Luna this time around, she’s a character I personally adore, and I’m rooting for her to redeem herself and shine in the future.
Surely, Seito and Rion will step up to the plate…! Luna, on the other hand, seems to be holding quite a grudge against Lily-chan over what happened with Seito, so it’ll be exciting to see how things unfold.
As for Aira-chan, she unexpectedly found herself at the mercy of Mii-chan this time, but I hope she’ll return to her usual mischievous self, teasing Seito and Luna when Mii-chan isn’t around. And when Mii-chan is around, well, I’d love to see Aira face all sorts of antics! (Laughs)
After all, loli characters are the ultimate powerhouses! (This might only resonate with readers familiar with my other works… chuckle.)
Here’s hoping we can bring you Volume 3 as well!
On another note, it feels like the light novel industry has been swept up in a romantic comedy manga adaptation boom over the past year or two, with manga adaptations often announced before or shortly after a first volume’s release.
I’d love for Incognito Princess to get a manga adaptation too!
And, of course, an anime adaptation would be a dream come true! (I’m so serious about this!!)
I’ll keep working hard to deliver the irresistibly cute moments of our heroines, so please continue to support us!
