To those who’ve been with me since my previous work, it’s been a while.
I’m Kota Mikami.
Now, this story is a romantic comedy featuring a heroine who’s a recovering chuunibyou!
Everyone has those cringe-worthy mistakes from their youth.
This tale centers on a girl who, due to an unfortunate knack for chuunibyou, suffered a bit more damage than most, and the boy who enthusiastically went along with her antics.
The real story begins after the chuunibyou phase is over.
By facing the embarrassment of their past actions and overcoming them, people grow into adults.
I hope you’ll enjoy this story of a boy and girl taking their first steps toward adulthood.
By the way, while writing this, I couldn’t help but recall my own middle school dark history, writhing in embarrassment several times.
This wasn’t just the usual writing process—it came with a mysterious kind of damage, scraping away at the soft parts of my heart. Still, I pushed through to finish it, so I’m praying it turned out to be something good as I write this afterword.
