Nice to meet you. Or, if we've met before, it's great to see you again. I'm Sakuwabana Saki.
I'm guessing a lot of you are thinking, "Who the heck is this?" So, let me give you a quick self-introduction: I'm the person who entered the 34th Fantasia Grand Prize, got selected as a finalist, and made my debut with *This Classroom Is Protected by Armed Force*.
For various reasons, it ended up taking about three whole years to release my second book. If you've read my first one, do you remember it? ...Yeah, that bodyguard action light novel reeking of blood and gunpowder. And this time around? A super-sweet, lovey-dovey rom-com with a brand-new female ALT.
.........Talk about a wild swing in genres!?
Well, this all happened because I, Sakuwabana, originally wrote rom-coms, you see.
Before my debut, I was like, "Hey, why not give a battle story a shot?" and submitted it to the Fantasia Grand Prize on a total whim. Then I got selected as a finalist, and boom—ended up debuting with a battle story.
So naturally, for my second book, I was itching to do a rom-com. And that's exactly what I did.
If the sheer sweetness of it all sends your blood sugar skyrocketing, well, that would make me over the moon.
