Thank you for picking up "If I Become the Lifesaver of the Single Most Adorable Kouhai in the Academy, She Becomes a Commuting Wife and Comes Pressing for a Relationship"!
Up until now, I've mainly written stories with same-grade heroines, but as the title suggests, this work features a junior as the main heroine! As usual (?), she's powerful, shrewd, and makes her advances with intense passion.
Writing about Shirasu Yuika, the heroine who becomes a commuting wife and pursues the protagonist, was a lot of fun. More than anything, the way she calls him "Senpai!" was so cute that I found myself swooning alone while writing (lol). That said, it was a struggle at first. Thinking about what constitutes the "ideal cute junior" is now a fond memory.
But that aside, let's talk about the illustrations.
The illustrations for this work were done by Tomo-sensei. I had wanted to work with him for a long time, so I was thrilled that my wish came true! He proposed not only multiple design patterns for Yuika but also for Mimasaka Iori, and it was tough choosing the best one. The same went for the cover illustration; they were all so wonderful that my editor and I had a hard time deciding. It's a shame I can't show you the numerous unpublished illustrations I have on hand, like the version with her chest exposed. While I think of this as an author's privilege, I've also been thinking it might be interesting to show everyone under the title "The Making of the Cover Illustration." With Tomo-sensei's permission, of course.
More importantly (?), did everyone purchase the bonus items? I've had experience with tapestries and acrylic stands before, but this time we even had a hug pillow cover made! My editor was apparently aware of how unprecedented this was and told me he secretly pushed it forward without his boss's knowledge, which made me laugh (naturally).
Since I'm running out of pages, a word of thanks.

This work began from a casual chat with my editor: "Isn't the situation where a younger girl comes to your house as a commuting wife just moe?" Thus, the first junior-type and blonde main heroine in Amane's history was born. By the way, the blonde hair is my editor O-san's preference, and the large breasts are mine.
Tomo-sensei drew such a heroine so cutely! School uniform, casual clothes, maid, bunny—it's a full spread! Please enjoy them along with the text!
