Hello everyone, I’m Myon.
This time, I’ve written this new work, “Exhausted with Life, I Arrived at a Village Where Beautiful Women Won't Let Me Go”.
The theme was about someone tired of city life who drifts to the countryside and is sought after by erotic women, but how did you all receive it?
If you thought it was interesting, that the heroines were erotic, or that you’d like to go to a place like this yourself, I’d be happy!
Now... now, then.
Whenever I work on a new project like this... no, I feel this even with my existing works, but I’ve realized once again that it’s only possible because of the support of so many people.
The power of the readers who bought the book goes without saying, but the presence of the illustrator is indispensable as one of the things that makes the work look even better.
For this work, I asked Gizan-sensei to do the illustrations.
Well... what do you think?!
Incredibly indecent... I mean, erotic... ahem!
I think we were able to deliver heroines who are incredibly sexy, cute, attractive, and wonderful!
I was very excited even at the stage when the first illustrations... the rough sketches in this case... were sent to me, and my tension went through the roof, thinking, "Wow, this is going to be something amazing!" (laughs).
The more volumes the series continues, the more illustrations I’ll be able to see...!
Thinking about that gives me a lot of motivation, of course, but since I’ve been given the opportunity to work together even though we don't meet directly, I hope to continue this work for as long as possible so that Gizan-sensei can draw the illustrations for a long time!
Now, from here, I’d like to talk a bit more in-depth.
This time, the countryside was one of the themes. Since I’m from a town with a very small population even within Shimane Prefecture, I thought I understood a fair amount about the countryside.
However, the setting this time was a village rather than a town... it was even smaller, so I researched various things, and of course, I worked with the editor to align our opinions and fill in the content.
Writing about flirting with the heroines... or rather, writing about erotic things, is my specialty, so I was able to write those parts smoothly. But since it’s a story, I couldn't just write that... yes, right.
There were so many parts that were truly difficult... especially for Mina’s mother, Reina; I had to rewrite things like what she usually does... whew, when I think back on it, it was hard, but at the same time, I was able to work hard because I wanted to finish it as a better work, so I thought maybe I should praise myself... a little (laughs).
However, while creating this work, I also thought that the countryside is a good place after all.
The city has its conveniences, and you can't find those in the countryside. But because I spent so much time in such a place, I think I was able to rediscover its good points.
Expressing gratitude for my own circumstances and the place I live through writing my own work... it was very strange, but I think this is also one of the important emotions for a human being.
Well, I’ve written a lot, but it’s finally time for the end!
I’m truly happy to have been given the opportunity to write this work, and above all, I’m very happy that the editor said it was good.
I want to continue this work more.
I want to expand the world of the characters more and let them reach a conclusion that I’m satisfied with... if luxury is permitted, I’d like to write infinitely and make it a long-running work like “Otomai”, which is continuing in parallel.
Well, it’s more of a wish or a desire, but I’m thinking that strongly, so please... I’ll keep praying and praying that many people will read it (laughs).
