I’m truly delighted to announce that the third volume of Otomae has been successfully published. From what I’ve heard, reaching a third volume is no small feat in today’s publishing world, and the fact that we’ve made it this far is entirely thanks to you, the readers, who have supported this series by purchasing these books. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!
I also owe immense gratitude to Giuniu-san, who has lent their incredible support since the first volume, as well as to my editor for their invaluable guidance.
Now, about this third volume—it marks the start of a new chapter as the characters advance to the next grade. While writing, I found myself reminiscing about my own high school days, or rather, my student life in general. I absolutely loathed studying and often dreaded going to school, but unless I was sick or had some unavoidable reason, I never skipped. Looking back now, though, I can’t help but think how truly fun those school days were (laughs). In that sense, I’m downright jealous of Hayato, who keeps things minimal at school but goes all-out lovey-dovey with a beautiful girl at home… Don’t you all feel the same?
That aside, reaching this third volume is something I’m genuinely thrilled about, and it feels like a milestone that motivates me to strive harder. I’m eager to continue the Otomae series moving forward, so I’d be incredibly grateful for your continued support!
