Afterword
It's been a while—Amane Megumi here.
Thank you so much for picking up The School Princess Who Secretly Shows Her Shy Side Only to Me, Volume 2.
In Volume 1, we had all sorts of shooting sessions in various situations after discovering the class princess heroine's secret in the after-school empty classroom, and that carries on strong in Volume 2 as well.
The season in the story is summer. And summer means the beach. Which naturally brings swimsuits to mind first. Going to the actual beach or pool is fun, but personally, I love the swimsuit shopping scenario (lol).
And this isn't limited to summer, but over the past few years, I've been going to a lot of doujinshi flea markets. Not just as a general attendee, but helping out at circles too—and the heat swirling through the venue is intense. The event scene in Volume 2 was inspired by those experiences.
Oh, and I think I mentioned this as a sort-of tradition (?) in Volume 1 too, but spoilers: there's no bath scene in Volume 2 either. Please don't throw stones at me for not writing one. Instead, I made sure to soak the uniform properly! I delivered that taboo see-through vibe!
Now, onto the acknowledgments.
To my editor S-san: Thank you for going along with all my consultations on scenarios and more! From the wet see-through opener, to maid outfits, swimsuits, and even bunny girls—I went wild, but your understanding meant the world.
To illustrator Yukimiya Yuge-sensei: Thank you so much for handling the illustrations for Volume 2 amid your busy schedule! The cover illustration of Rinoa in summer clothes, with that smile—it's exactly the last scene I had in mind, and it moved me deeply!
And to all you readers: Whether this is your first time picking up one of my books or you've been following from my previous works, my deepest thanks remain the same. It's all thanks to you that I can keep writing.
And to all the many people involved in publishing this book: Once again, to the readers who bought this book—truly, thank you so much!
With the earnest wish that we meet again somewhere down the line, I'll put down my pen here.
