Chapter 5 Summer vacation
“There it is!” Arisa-san exclaimed.
“Wow!” Aina-san gasped.
“It’s beautiful,” Sakuna-san added.
I peered out the car window, catching sight of what they were talking about.
“…Whoa,” I breathed.
An endless expanse of blue stretched before us, mirroring the sky above and reaching toward the horizon—the sea.
“I’ve already got the villa keys, so we’ll head straight there,” Sakuna-san said, her voice calm but excited.
“Sweet!” Aina-san chirped, her enthusiasm practically radiating.
Driving along an elevated road, we could see the beach below, bustling with people soaking up the summer sun.
“It’s summer break, alright… incredible,” I muttered, awestruck.
“Maybe… a bit too crowded?” Arisa-san said, her earlier excitement dampened by the sight of the throng.
We were far from our usual haunts, about a two-hour drive from home. I hadn’t been to the beach in years, so I’d been hyped for today.
“The nearby hotels are probably booked solid with this many people,” Sakuna-san said, chuckling. “Just be careful not to get tangled up with any weirdos.”
Before Arisa-san or Aina-san could respond, I jumped in. “Leave it to me—I’ll protect Arisa-san and Aina-san no matter what.”
“Hayato-kun…” Arisa-san murmured, her voice soft.
“…Swoon,” Aina-san sighed, her tone dripping with sweetness.
I felt their heated gazes and sugary breaths from the backseat.
“And of course, I’ll protect you too, Sakuna-san. Don’t worry,” I added.
Protecting not just Arisa-san and Aina-san but Sakuna-san too was my top priority on this trip—a mission I had to fulfill. Maybe I was being a bit dramatic, but that mindset felt just right.
“…Ohh,” Sakuna-san let out a soft sound.
“Sakuna-san!?” I said, alarmed.
“Mom, eyes on the road!” Aina-san called.
“Hayato-kun, don’t distract Mom while she’s driving!” Arisa-san scolded.
That little moment made Sakuna-san space out, but we arrived safely at the villa soon after.
“…Holy crap,” I said, staring.
“I’ve never been here before, but…” Arisa-san trailed off.
“Wowza,” Aina-san added.
The grand building before us left our jaws on the floor. This was the villa we’d be staying in, and it was far beyond anything I’d ever seen—way too luxurious for regular folks like me.
The place had already been cleaned for our arrival. Peering through the large glass windows, the interior was spotless, and even the balcony showed no trace of dirt.
(This is… way more than I imagined.)
Just who was Sakuna-san’s friend?
Pondering that unanswerable question, we stepped inside, and I couldn’t help but gasp at the pristine interior and the stunning ocean view from the living room.
“What do you think, Hayato-kun?” Sakuna-san asked.
“It’s like I’m suddenly filthy rich,” I said, half-joking.
“Fufu, I’m glad you like it,” she replied. “We’re borrowing it casually, but I wouldn’t come here without an occasion like this. Let’s make the most of it.”
“Absolutely!” I agreed.
After dropping our bags, we explored the villa like kids on an adventure. It was so grand I could’ve stayed holed up here forever, but Aina-san was practically bouncing with excitement to hit the beach, and her enthusiasm was contagious.
“There’s a pool too,” Arisa-san noted.
“What, you wanna settle for the pool? With the beach right there, no way we’re skipping it!” Aina-san protested.
“No one said we’re swimming in the pool…” Arisa-san sighed.
How excited was she? I wasn’t exasperated—far from it. Aina-san’s eagerness was adorable, and I was head-over-heels. No surprise there.
“Let’s get ready and head out,”
And so, we made our way to the beach.
▼▽
“…Phew,” I exhaled, sitting under a parasol.
I was down to just swim trunks—standard beach attire, sure, but part of me wished I was a bit more ripped.
“Getting… nervous,”
Any moment now, Arisa-san and Aina-san would show up in the swimsuits I picked. And Sakuna-san? She’d be in a swimsuit too, but I had no clue what kind. A gorgeous mother-daughter trio strutting out in swimsuits? How could I not be nervous—or dying to see them?
“…Man, it’s packed,” I said, scanning the beach from the shade.
The forecast promised clear skies for days, and the sea sparkled under the sun. But the sheer number of people was overwhelming, like stepping into another world. Watching a kid buried in the sand up to their neck, giggling with joy, warmed my heart. Make those memories with your parents, little one.
“Summer break’s just getting started,” I said to myself.
That’s why I was determined to go all out with my favorite girls.
As I psyched myself up, the voices I’d been waiting for rang out.
“Sorry for the wait~!” Aina-san called.
“You already set everything up? Wow,” Arisa-san said.
“Thank you, Hayato-kun,” Sakuna-san added.
“…Oh,” I breathed, turning toward them.
Three goddesses stood before me, and my heart skipped a beat.
“…”
I wanted to look away but couldn’t—my eyes were glued to them. This must be paradise.
“I could die happy right now,” I said.
“No way, Hayato-kun!” Arisa-san cried.
“Absolutely not!” Aina-san added.
They rushed over, their… assets bouncing with every step.
“…You’re beautiful,” I said, the words slipping out.
“Oh…” Arisa-san paused.
“…Ehehe,” Aina-san giggled.
They froze for a moment, then blushed and smiled, their expressions a perfect blend of adorable and stunning. I was already smitten, but now? Completely entranced.
“Look closer?” Arisa-san teased.
“You picked these swimsuits, Hayato-kun♪” Aina-san added, striking a cute pose.
“Alright… I’m taking a good look!” I declared.
“Eek!” Aina-san squealed.
“Go for it!” Arisa-san encouraged.
Sakuna-san watched with a fond smile, but I focused on the girls. Like a swimsuit sommelier, I started with Arisa-san.
Her triangle bikini was standard, but on her? It was anything but. Her perfect figure made it insanely sexy. The top barely contained her, with a hint of underboob peeking out—perfection. The bottoms, with their bejeweled chain-like straps, were stylish and chic.
“You’re staring, Hayato-kun♡,” Arisa-san said, clearly pleased.
“…Ahem,” I coughed, shifting my gaze to Aina-san.
“Look all you want♡,” she purred, giving me a sultry side-eye.
Her off-shoulder bikini was a different vibe, accentuating her curves in a unique way.
The standout was her chest—already famously ample, but the crossed straps gave off a daring vibe, like one tug could lead to a wardrobe malfunction.
“You both look amazing!” I said, giving a thumbs-up.
“Yay!” Arisa-san cheered.
“Score!” Aina-san grinned.
They beamed, and I felt a surge of pride for picking swimsuits they loved and wore so well. Their ability to pull them off was unreal.
“Now…” I turned to Sakuna-san.
She wasn’t part of our shopping trip, but she’d surely prepared a swimsuit. Yet, despite the blazing sun, she was hiding her upper body under a hoodie-style rash guard.
“Sakuna-san…” I started.
“…” Her warm smile vanished, replaced by a flushed, downcast look.
Her thick thighs were exposed, so she was definitely wearing a swimsuit underneath. Was something up?
“Come on, Mom, Hayato-kun’s dying to see—show him!” Arisa-san urged.
“Arisa…” Sakuna-san murmured.
“Yeah, Mom, it looks awesome!” Aina-san added.
“It’s been a while, and… it’s a bit embarrassing,” Sakuna-san admitted.
It clicked—she was just shy about showing her swimsuit. Her furtive glances at me confirmed it, so I spoke up.
“Sakuna-san, I really want to see it!” I said earnestly.
“Hayato-kun…” she hesitated.
Like Arisa-san said, I was curious—no, I just had to see. After staring her down for a few seconds, she sighed and slipped off the rash guard.
“…”
“Oh… wow,” I gasped.
It was a simple bikini, but the straps crossed behind her neck instead of over her shoulders. Somehow, that detail amplified her allure, probably because it was Sakuna-san.
“What do you think?” she asked nervously.
“It looks incredible,” I said.
She let out a visible sigh of relief. But seeing all three of them together? It was a breathtaking sight, and I felt like the odd one out.
(…I need to stop thinking like that.)
Part of it was the stares we were getting—some hostile, like I was an intruder, others clearly sizing up the girls with intent.
(Looks like I need to step up my game.)
I’d fend off any pests. With a sharp glare, I went into guard-dog mode. Aina-san, holding sunscreen, broke my focus.
“Hey, Hayato-kun,” she said.
“Yeah?” I replied.
“Could you put this on me?” she asked, handing me the bottle.
“…Sure,” I said, taking it.
She loosened her bikini straps and lay down.
(Applying sunscreen… I never thought I’d be doing this.)
It’s a classic beach scene in manga and anime. I knew there were different types of sunscreen, but this was a lotion I’d have to rub in thoroughly.
“Can you do me next?” Arisa-san asked.
“If it’s okay, I’d like you to do me too, Hayato-kun,” Sakuna-san added.
“Uh, yeah, sure,” I agreed.
So, I’d be doing all three. Starting with Aina-san, I opened the bottle, poured some lotion into my palm, and spread it out.
“Here goes,” I said.
“Okay♪,” she replied, nodding.
I touched her back, and she let out a soft, “Ahh!”
“S-Sorry, Hayato-kun… it’s a bit cold,” she said.
“Oh, right…” I replied.
“Go ahead,” she urged.
“Got it…”
Trying to ignore her earlier moan, I started rubbing in the sunscreen. I was nervous at first, but thanks to all the time we’d spent together, I quickly got the hang of it.
“Mmm… ah… ohh,” Aina-san sighed.
“Aina, behave,” Arisa-san scolded.
“But it feels so good♪ Hayato-kun’s a pro, Nee-san!” Aina-san said.
“Is he now? Hmm…” Arisa-san’s eyes sparkled with expectation.
I wasn’t sure about being a “pro,” but her praise made me happy.
“You’re really thorough,” Aina-san noted.
“I want to protect your beautiful skin… and, well, it might sound pervy, but I like touching someone I care about,” I admitted.
“Oh… ehehe, touch me more!” she giggled.
I might’ve phrased that poorly, but she seemed thrilled.
“Now my butt too?” she asked.
“…Right,” I said, moving to her request.
She said she’d handle the rest, so I moved to Arisa-san, who lay ready. I started applying the lotion to her back.
“Hayato-kun,” she said.
“Yeah?” I replied.
“Can you do the sides of my chest too?” she asked.
“…Huh?” I blinked.
The sides of her chest—her underboob!?
Aina-san and Sakuna-san were chatting, oblivious to her request. Arisa-san’s expression screamed she wanted me to touch her now. She could probably do it herself, but my less noble instincts took over, and my hands moved to her underboob.
“Mmm… fufu, that feels nice, Hayato-kun,” she said.
“Yeah…” I replied, my voice tight.
It was soft, no question, and I carefully rubbed in the lotion. Her turn took longer than Aina-san’s due to the extra area, but I finished.
Finally, Sakuna-san’s turn. That’s when I saw it—an absolute spectacle.
(This…!)
Her chest was practically spilling out from her back. It’d happened with Arisa-san and Aina-san too, but Sakuna-san’s sheer volume made it impossible to miss.
“Earlier,” she said.
“Yes!?” I yelped.
“You did Arisa’s chest too, right? Maybe I should ask for the same,” she teased.
“Uh…” I stammered.
“Fufu, just kidding,” she laughed.
She’d noticed. Blushing under her giggles, I finished applying her sunscreen.
“Hayato-kun,” she called, adjusting her swimsuit.
“What’s up?” I asked.
“Don’t stress too much, okay? It’s sweet that you care so much, but this is a special trip—enjoy it,” she said.
“You noticed, huh?” I said, chuckling.
“How long have we been together?” she replied with a smile.
“Haha… forever, right?” I said.
That was the only answer that felt right. If Sakuna-san noticed my protectiveness, Arisa-san and Aina-san probably did too. She looked down briefly before continuing.
“Such sweet words… Ahem. Just don’t forget to have fun yourself, okay?” she said.
“Got it! But I meant it—I’ll protect all three of you, no matter what. That’s non-negotiable,” I declared, meeting her gaze.
“Hayato-kun! Mom!” Arisa-san called.
“Come on already~!” Aina-san added.
I nodded and held out my hand to Sakuna-san. “Let’s have fun, Sakuna-san!”
“…Fufu, yes!” she agreed, taking my hand.
We joined the girls, ready to dive into the beach day. Was swimming all there was to do? Nope—Aina-san shook her head and grabbed something.
“Let’s play beach volleyball!” she announced, holding a volleyball.
“Beach volleyball?” I echoed.
A court nearby was free. My injury was healed, but I’d need to stretch and warm up properly. One question lingered, though.
“How’s Sakuna-san with volleyball?” I asked.
“She’s fine. She was in the volleyball club in school,” Arisa-san said.
“Really? I didn’t know,” I said, surprised.
That made sense, then.
“Compared to Arisa and Aina, I’m nothing special. And I’m not exactly young anymore,” Sakuna-san said modestly.
But I was about to be proven wrong.
We played rock-paper-scissors to split teams, and I ended up with Sakuna-san. Then…
“Yaaaah!!” she shouted.
I tossed the ball, and she spiked it with incredible force. Her jump reminded me of Aina-san at the sports festival, but the power? Even stronger.
“That’s… insane,” I gasped.
“Fufu, I’ve still got it♪” Sakuna-san said, beaming.
“Mom… you’re scary good,” Arisa-san said.
“Yeah… we can’t let our guard down,” Aina-san added.
Their gazes shifted, like they were facing a final boss. Sakuna-san just smiled serenely, radiating an almost regal aura.
“You’re a powerhouse, Sakuna-san,” I said.
“Really? Then I’ll keep it up!” she replied, flashing a dazzling smile.
She proceeded to dominate Arisa-san and Aina-san. They were mindful of my leg, directing all their spikes at Sakuna-san. She received, I tossed, and she smashed, leading us to victory.
“Maybe I should exercise more often,” Sakuna-san mused.
“Too strong…” I muttered.
“Mom, you’re unreal…” Aina-san said, exhausted.
While Arisa-san and Aina-san were wiped out, Sakuna-san looked unfazed, her forehead lightly glistening with sweat, holding the ball like she could keep going.
“Three big balls…” I muttered.
Joking aside, when she held the volleyball, it was hard to tell which was which. During the game, their… bouncing assets were so distracting, I could barely focus, despite not needing to jump for spikes.
“Good game, Hayato-k—” Sakuna-san started, approaching me.
“Huh?” I blinked.
She tripped on the sand and fell toward me. Sitting down to rest, I was perfectly positioned for her chest to come straight at my face, knocking me back.
“Mmph!?” I yelped.
“Eek!” she squeaked.
The soft sand cushioned my fall, but my face was in serious trouble.
“Oh no! Sorry, Hayato-kun!” she said, quickly getting up.
“I’m fine…” I mumbled.
“What are you two doing~?” Aina-san teased.
“Are you okay?” Arisa-san asked, rushing over.
I grabbed Arisa-san’s hand to stand. Despite the dramatic tumble, neither Sakuna-san nor I was hurt, and our volleyball game wrapped up.
Sweaty and satisfied, we finally dove into the sea.
“Pwah!” I gasped, surfacing after a big splash.
I’d gotten a mouthful of seawater, reminding me how salty it was—a no-brainer, but it hit home that I was really at the beach.
“Hayato-kun!” Aina-san called.
“What—” I turned, only to get splashed in the face.
Water got in my eyes, nose, and mouth, and something irritated my throat, making me cough. When I recovered, Aina-san was grinning like a kid who’d pulled off a prank. Time for payback.
“Bold move, Aina-san,” I said.
“Whatcha gonna do about it~?” she taunted.
“This!” I shouted, splashing her with even more water.
Unlike my clumsy soaking, she blocked with her hands, smirking as she splashed me back.
“Take that! And that♪” she laughed.
“C’mon, bring it!” I retorted.
Arisa-san watched, exasperated. “You two are such kids—”
In perfect sync, Aina-san and I turned and doused her with water.
“What’re you acting all high and mighty for?” our coordinated attack seemed to say. Sakuna-san deftly dodged, watching like a wrestling fan hyped for the next move.
“…You two,” Arisa-san said, her wet bangs covering her eyes like a horror movie ghost.
Her trembling shoulders and the glint in her eyes—okay, maybe not red, but close—marked us as her enemies. She splashed us back with vengeance.
“Looks like we’re all kids,” Sakuna-san said, summing up the chaos.
Forgetting we were high schoolers, we reverted to childlike glee, splashing each other silly. Afterward, Aina-san and I ended up on an inflatable raft.
“Pure bliss,” she said.
“Yeah,” I agreed.
We floated, letting the gentle waves rock us.
“Hayato-kun,” she said.
“What?” I replied.
“We’re alone… right?” she said, looking down at me as I lay back.
“Alone… yeah,” I confirmed.
“No interruptions… wanna get lovey-dovey?” she asked, lying beside me with a smile.
She licked her lips, suggesting something spicy, but it was rare for her to stop there. We were only “alone” on this raft—plenty of people were swimming nearby.
“Papa! Mama!” a kid shouted.
“Haha, nice swimming!” a dad replied.
“Hey! I stepped on something!” a woman yelped.
“Jellyfish maybe~?” someone teased.
“Jellyfish!?” another squealed.
“It’s lively,” I said, laughing with Aina-san.
“I wonder… if this could last forever,” she said softly.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“Summer break just started, and it’s already this fun,” she said.
“I feel the same… because you’re here,” I replied.
“Hayato-kun…” she whispered.
The world’s noise faded, leaving just us. Our eyes locked, faces drawing closer… until our lips met.
“If this were a secluded spot, I’d go for a deep kiss,” she teased.
“Yeah… maybe,” I said.
“So just this… for now,” she murmured.
We kissed softly, the sound of our lips echoing. Pulling back, we gazed at each other, then kissed again. I wasn’t sure if she meant to, but her leg tangled with mine.
(This is bad… I can’t think straight.)
Kissing while swaying on gentle waves was pure heaven. But our moment was cut short by an adorable interruption.
“What’re you doing~?” a small voice asked.
“!?” I flinched.
“Huh!?” Aina-san yelped.
We pulled apart as a kid swimming nearby called out, floating in a round tube with sparkling eyes.
“Hey! Don’t bother strangers! So sorry!” their parent called.
“No worries!” I said.
“It’s fine~ We were just playing with this big brother♪” Aina-san said.
“Cool!” the kid chirped.
The kid’s mother tugged them along by the hand.
They waved at us, and Aina-san and I waved back. As the quiet settled in again, we both let out a sigh of relief.
“Phew… that was a surprise,” I said.
“Yeah… good thing they didn’t see anything,” Aina-san replied with a grin.
“Wouldn’t want to corrupt the youth,” I joked.
“Haha, exactly♪” she laughed.
Aina-san chuckled and glanced at the parent and child walking away.
“Kids are just… so adorable, aren’t they?” she said softly.
“Yeah… they are,” I agreed.
Uh-oh. The mood shifted in an instant.
“Aina-san…?” I said, sensing the change.
She licked her fingers absentmindedly, her hand trailing from her chest down to her stomach, then lingering just above her bikini bottoms, stroking gently as she spoke.
“No matter how much time passes, it’s always the same… When I think about having a kid with you, Hayato-kun, this spot just throbs,” she said, her voice dreamy, cheeks flushed as she gazed at me.
Her fingers kept caressing her lower abdomen, pressing lightly into her skin, then easing up, repeating the motion in a hypnotic rhythm.
“Right here… the place where our baby would grow—it’s tingling,” she murmured.
“…” I froze, words failing me.
Aina-san shifted, crawling toward me on all fours, her eyes smoldering. It always struck me how she and Arisa-san, despite being high schoolers, could exude such sultry allure.
“Hayato-kun,” she purred.
“Wha—” I started.
With a gentle push, she sent me tumbling into the sea.
The heat from our earlier exchange and the blazing sun was doused by the cold water, snapping my thoughts back to clarity.
“That was sudden, Aina-san!” I laughed, surfacing.
“Ehehe, I’m jumping in too!” she chirped, leaping in beside me.
She splashed down, sending water everywhere, then grabbed my waist, pulling me under. We resurfaced moments later, laughing.
“You really caught me off guard,” I said.
“But it felt good, right? Cooling off that heated body,” she teased.
“Well… yeah, it did,” I admitted.
Thanks to her, I was definitely thinking clearly again.
We tugged the inflatable raft back to shore, and I swapped places with Aina-san, joining Arisa-san.
“Finally, my turn,” Arisa-san said, clinging to my arm like she wasn’t letting go anytime soon.
“Aina-san’s probably gonna nap now,” I said, glancing back.
“Definitely. It’s nice and cool under the parasol, and with Mom nearby, she’ll sleep like a baby,” Arisa-san agreed.
Aina-san, looking drowsy, had collapsed onto a chair under the parasol the moment we returned. With Sakuna-san watching over her, a quick nap sounded perfect.
“So, what does my princess desire?” I asked Arisa-san with a grin.
It was a cheesy line, even for me, but Arisa-san leaned into it. “All I want is for my prince to stay by my side, relaxing like this♪,” she replied, her tone playful.
“How about a stroll, then?” I suggested.
“Sounds good,” she agreed.
We set off to explore the beach. Unlike floating with Aina-san, the shore was alive with people enjoying themselves in their own ways.
“Man… she’s stacked,” a loud, brash guy muttered as we passed.
“…” Arisa-san tensed.
I heard it too, and it was obvious his comment was aimed at her. I noticed her shoulders shake, and despite me being right there, the guy didn’t hesitate to keep talking.
“Hey, gorgeous, ditch that boring guy and hang with me—”
I swatted his outstretched hand away.
I surprised myself with how fast I reacted, locking eyes with him to make it clear: Back off.
“…Tch,” he clicked his tongue, glaring briefly before walking away.
“‘Boring’ my ass,” I muttered under my breath.
“Putting someone down to make yourself look better? That’s just pathetic,” Arisa-san said, her voice dripping with disdain.
“Arisa-san?” I glanced at her.
“Calling you boring? Who does he think he is?” she huffed, looking ready to flip him off but holding back.
The moment dampened our mood, but we shook it off and resumed our walk, just the two of us.
“By the time we get back, it’ll probably be time to head to the villa,” Arisa-san said.
“Time flew by,” I noted.
“We got here past noon, so it makes sense,” she replied.
“But that means we can go all out from morning tomorrow,” I said.
“Watermelon smashing, banana boats—Aina-san was excited about those,” she added.
“I’m kinda looking forward to that too,” I admitted.
Looks like we’d have plenty more beach fun. There was even an event at the stage nearby tomorrow, which sounded exciting.
“Wanna swim a bit more?” Arisa-san asked.
“Sounds good,” I agreed.
She tugged my arm, and we waded back into the sea. Unlike with Aina-san, we stayed close to shore, where the water reached just below our chests, swimming leisurely.
Eventually, I just floated, letting the sea carry me.
“This is paradise too,” I said.
The water made floating effortless, no need to move my arms or legs. I’d be in trouble if I drifted too far, but the lively chatter around me reassured me I was fine.
“…Arisa-san?” I said suddenly.
I realized she’d gone quiet. She’d been chatting while swimming, and I’d been talking to her, assuming she was nearby. Her silence felt off.
“Arisa-san…!?” I called, panic rising.
Had something happened!?
I adjusted my stance to search for her, but found her just a short distance away. Relief washed over me—until I noticed something was wrong.
“Arisa-san, what’s up?” I asked, swimming toward her.
“Hayato-kun… help,” she said, her voice shaky.
“Help? What’s wrong!?” I pushed through the water to reach her.
She threw her arms around me, pressing herself close. Her… ample assets squished against my stomach. Wait, something felt off—way too vivid, like I could feel her chest directly.
“Huh… your swimsuit…?” I stammered.
The straps that should’ve been on her shoulders… weren’t there. And the fabric covering her chest? Gone.
“No way…” I muttered.
“It… came undone while I was swimming, and I don’t know where it went,” she explained.
“It got swept away…?” I said.
This was… a potential disaster!
Thankfully, it didn’t seem like anyone else had noticed, judging by the carefree people around us. But a quick scan showed no sign of her bikini top floating nearby.
“…These things happen, huh,” I said.
“Yeah… but… fufu,” she giggled.
“Arisa-san?” I blinked.
This should’ve been mortifying for her, yet she was laughing.
“Sorry, it is super embarrassing,” she said. “But you’re here, so I feel safe… and honestly, getting to cling to you like this? This accident isn’t half bad.”
“I get it… and I’m not complaining either,” I admitted.
“Happy?” she teased.
“Of course… though nodding too eagerly feels kinda wrong,” I said.
She laughed, clearly enjoying herself. Still, we had to find her swimsuit.
To move easier, I had her shift to my back, clinging to me from behind.
(Stay calm, Hayato!)
I pinched the back of my hand to focus, but the sensation of her chest against my back drowned out the pain. I was struggling to concentrate on anything but her.
“Any luck, Hayato-kun?” she asked.
“Not yet…” I replied.
I was searching desperately, but—wait, there!
“Found it!” I shouted.
“Really!?” she exclaimed.
I’d been looking hard, and there it was, floating nearby. A lucky break in this vast ocean. I grabbed it before it could drift away again.
“Here, Arisa-san,” I said, handing it to her.
“Thanks, Hayato-kun…” she said, but didn’t move to put it on.
“Arisa-san?” I asked, confused.
She held the bikini top to her chest, staring at me. No one was close by, but what was she thinking?
“Hayato-kun,” she said.
“Yeah…?” I replied.
“This swimsuit… it’s got a lot of straps, right? Could you help me put it on?” she asked.
“…Huh?” I blinked.
Help her put it on?
I echoed the question in my head, but she just draped the straps over her shoulders and said, “Please,” softly.
“Alright…!” I agreed.
I couldn’t refuse her, not that I wanted to. Besides, I couldn’t leave her exposed like this for others to see.
“Uh… guide me through it?” I asked.
“Of course. First…” she began.
Following her instructions, I helped her put on the bikini top. It wasn’t complicated—just tying the straps as she directed while she faced away.
“Mmm…” she murmured.
“Sorry!” I said, realizing I’d pulled a strap too tight.
“No, it’s fine. It didn’t hurt. If anything… being tied up by you, having my freedom restricted—it’s kind of thrilling,” she said.
“…”
Why did she always choose such provocative words!?
I wondered if she really couldn’t do this alone, but I kept tying carefully. When I finished, she spoke again.
“Could you adjust the cups and support my chest?” she asked.
“…Sure,” I said.
Screw it, whatever happens, happens!
(This softness in my hands… it’s too much.)
The devil on my shoulder urged me to just grab and squeeze, but I shook off the thought.
“There! How’s that?” I asked, stepping back.
“Perfect. Thanks, Hayato-kun,” she said.
“No problem…” I mumbled.
Having felt her chest so directly, I couldn’t stop staring at her swaying figure as we walked back to Aina-san and Sakuna-san.
▼▽
By evening, we returned to the villa.
Dinner was a barbecue in the garden—a quintessential summer break experience. All the equipment was provided, so we just had to grill the ingredients we’d brought.
After waiting for the meat to cook, we clapped our hands.
“Itadakimasu!” I said.
“Let’s eat~!” Aina-san chimed.
Sitting beside Aina-san, I reached for the sizzling meat on the grill, practically begging to be eaten.
Chomp.
Chomp.
Dipping the hot meat in sauce, I locked eyes with Aina-san, both of us wide-eyed with delight before shouting in unison:
“Delicious!”
“So good!”
It was beyond delicious.
“Hey, slow down, you two, or you’ll choke,” Arisa-san warned.
“Be careful~,” Sakuna-san added, already tipsy from her drink.
“Mom, don’t overdo it,” Arisa-san said.
“It’s fine for today~!” Sakuna-san slurred.
“…Ugh,” Arisa-san sighed.
“No use, Nee-san. Once Mom’s like this, she’s on our side,” Aina-san said.
I nodded in agreement. Like during our winter hot spring trip, a drunk Sakuna-san lost all her adult authority, transforming into an adorable woman.
“True, too much nagging will ruin the barbecue vibe,” Arisa-san conceded.
“That’s the spirit! Come on, Nee-san, eat up!” Aina-san urged.
Arisa-san nodded and dug in. With so much food prepared, it was up to me and Aina-san to make a dent—déjà vu from somewhere, I swear.
“Alright, time for some yakionigiri,” I said, placing rice balls on the grill and brushing them with soy sauce.
The aroma of sizzling soy sauce promised deliciousness. I made enough for everyone.
“Here, Arisa-san,” I said.
“Thanks,” she replied.
“Here, Aina-san.”
“Wow! Thanks!” she chirped.
“And Sakuna-san.”
“Thank you, Hayato-kun♪,” she said.
Nothing beats rice with barbecue! Okay, maybe yakionigiri wasn’t plain rice, but everyone loved it, so mission accomplished.
“There’s still a ton left,” I noted.
“We’ve gotta eat up, then,” Arisa-san said.
“Let’s do this!” Aina-san cheered.
I was just as pumped. Aina-san’s enthusiasm was contagious.
“Eat lots, okay?” Sakuna-san said, her voice laced with the scent of alcohol.
“Y-Yes!” I stammered, nodding nervously.
(I thought drunk Sakuna-san just got cute, but… she gets insanely seductive too. Why!?)
It’s a mystery I’ll never solve, but one thing’s certain: I doubt I’ll ever meet an older woman as alluring as Sakuna-san.
“Gotta eat more!” I said, refocusing.
“Yeah, Hayato-kun!” Aina-san cheered.
“All the meat’s delicious,” Arisa-san added.
I went to town on the meat, balancing it with veggies, though meat made up about eighty percent of what I ate.
“Man… I’m stuffed,” I groaned.
“Ugh… I might’ve overdone it,” Arisa-san said, looking pale.
She’d eaten more than usual, not out of obligation but because it was just that good.
“Full~♪” Aina-san said, rubbing her stomach contentedly.
“Did you all have fun today?” Sakuna-san asked.
“Yeah!” Aina-san nodded energetically.
Arisa-san and I nodded too. Even tipsy, Sakuna-san watched us with a warm smile, as if seeing the three of us together was her greatest joy.
I was the only one who noticed her expression.
“Yawn…” Aina-san let out a huge yawn, and I caught it too.
“Let’s clean up,” Arisa-san said.
“Right,” I agreed.
We tidied up and took quick showers. Since we’d gone straight to the beach upon arrival, we hadn’t assigned rooms. Aina-san suggested we all sleep together, and we agreed.
“Suu… suu…” Sakuna-san was out like a light.
“Mom’s asleep already!” Aina-san laughed.
“She drove and must be exhausted,” Arisa-san said.
“And she drank,” I added.
The moment she hit the futon, Sakuna-san was off to dreamland. Aina-san had been sleepy earlier, but now, lying beside me, she seemed wide awake.
“This place… it’s amazing,” I said.
“So beautiful,” Arisa-san agreed.
“Yeah,” Aina-san added.
The ceiling was transparent glass, revealing a starry sky. You could see stars outside anytime, but from under the covers? That was something else.
“…?” I felt hands overlap mine.
“Sakuna-san asked earlier, but… did you two have fun today?” I asked.
“So much fun… really,” Arisa-san said.
“Super fun♪” Aina-san added.
Their grips tightened, and I squeezed back.
“What about you, Hayato-kun?” Arisa-san asked.
“How was it?” Aina-san echoed.
“No question—” I started, grinning. “It was a blast, obviously.”
Alone, I’d never have felt this kind of joy and happiness.
“Once you experience this, you can’t let it go,” I said.
“Don’t let go, okay?” Arisa-san said.
“Even if you try, we won’t let you,” Aina-san teased.
Their grips grew even stronger, like they’d never let go. Careful not to wake Sakuna-san, we kept talking in hushed voices.

“…I’m awake,” I muttered.
Sandwiched between Arisa-san and Aina-san, I’d been sleeping soundly, but something woke me up. They were still gripping my hands, fast asleep. No getting free now, I thought with a wry smile. Then I noticed something.
“Sakuna-san?” I whispered.
She wasn’t in her spot next to Aina-san. Her futon was empty. Maybe she’d gone to the bathroom? A slight unease crept in, so I slipped out of bed to find her.
“Oh…” I said.
“Hayato-kun?” she replied.
I found her easily. Just outside the room, in the hallway, Sakuna-san was gazing up at the sky.
